we all loved staying at this place. the views were stunning, out in the middle of the wilderness. saw wildlife everyday. leslie and carl went out of their way to accomodate our needs. the cabins were fully furnished, the wood inside of the cabins were gorgeous. there were nine staying with us, from three different states. it really brought family closer together. we definatly will be back again. “The awesome place that made our family vacation wonderful”

We had a wonderful time here! It was beyond are expectations, had everything we needed, and got raves from the whole family.

“Beautiful Retreat”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2011

Our accommodations at Lone Elk Lodge exceeded our expectations and were enhanced by the friendliness and hospitality of the Haggars. The setting was beautiful and the home was extremely well equipped. It was helpful to have specific recommendations for nearby establishments. It will always be an important part of our happy Glacier Park vacation.

“Great Vacation”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2010

We stayed at the Lone Elk Sinopah unit for 3 nights. The location was perfect for us to get to 3 different park entrances very easily. The unit was brand new and was really nicely appointed. Leslie and Carl thought of everything and as a vacation rental owner myself, I found some things that I had not even considered at my own place. The surrounding property and area was incredibly beautiful and it was less than 5 minutes to get into the town of East Glacier and go out to dinner or get some groceries. If you are ever going to Glacier National Park and are considering staying at the Glacier Park Lodge, don't bother, stay at Lone Elk, you will not be disappointed.

“You will find nothing finer, cleaner, upscale, and pleasing.”

We arrived my 2 sister with their husbands and me solo all retired on a 9 days tour of the midwest this being our last stop. My 2 sisters are very fussy about cleanliness, and bug free. We were so very happy for such a wonderful, clean, feature filled home. 3 BR 3 Baths each tastefully decorated which my sisters raved to all after we retruned home. Top notch appliances, gas fireplace, so warm and comforting. Close to everything in Glacier National Park. All appliances, baths, showers, toliets - not those donut holes u find at so many places today were top notch. Quiet and serene. First rate couches, chairs, LCD Tv's, Internet connections. The place was so well insulated we didn't need heat or aC the whole time we were there 3 days and nights. We walked each night to the back ponds to see if we could find any bear not! But we saw other wild life at the 3 ponds. Did I mentioned we ate in each night and had steaks on the grill one night? Sat outside on the porch each night for happy hour for snacks. Oh the snack awaiting us on our arrivial delicious muffin of unimaginable tastes. Sorry Leslie and Carl for not saying goodbye when we left. We will be back at some point and definitely will recommend it to friends and those of you who are looking for a nice place to stay. And we had snow in September the am we left - what could be better!

“Beautiful experience”

Reviewed 6 Jul 2010

The Rising Wolf condo was simply wonderful. Our bedroom stepped out onto a deck with a view of the mountains in Glacier Park, making for beautiful sunsets, to the comforts of home inside with all needed appliances, comfortable furniture, spacious bedrooms and area complimentary decor. Leslie and Carl were quite accomodating and helpful in finding places to visit in the park and surrounding area. We are ready to come back and stay again after just getting home!

“Don't Hesitate!!”

Reviewed 6 Jul 2010

This place was beautiful. It far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the just finished Sinopah unit. ( Take a look at the website link there are more pictures) The beds were very comfortable and the baths had large luxurious showers, both important amenities after a long day hiking. It was great to have a kitchen and washer and dryer. The location was perfect to explore the Two Medicine Valley and the small town of East Glacier. Don't miss breakfast at the Whistle Stop. After touring the large Glacier Park Lodge and the other accomodations in town we were certain we had made the right choice booking our own little piece of Montana at Lone Elk Lodge.
