“Absolutely Wonderful!”

Reviewed 11 Mar 2014

My wife and I came here to escape for a bit and what a fantastic stay! The casita is quite cozy and comfortable. I particularly liked the views of the snowy mountains, the quiet, and clear starry nights, of course the kiva fireplace and toasty radiant heated floors helped us to forget our week. I can't recall the sound of a car, ever, yet we were a short drive to town and the Taos Plaza. Tho I didn't ski this w/e, the ticket would be to get dropped at the shuttle stop a few minutes away, allowing my wife the chance to hang-out or take the car into town. (the shuttle costs a buck and is as fast as driving to the ski valley) Our hosts were gracious and attentive but not intrusive as we thought the place was all to ourselves. Taos has so much to offer and this is a wonderful place to explore it from.

The casita was lovely, well furnished and clean. Check-in and check-out were very easy, the host very friendly and available. Even so, the casita was very quiet and a lovely get-away.

“Great Taos-Style Casita with Wonderful Views”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2011

Randy & Sondra were wonderful hosts; they were always available, accommodated our every request and even allowed us extra time on our check-out day. The casita is located with wonderful views in every direction. The interior with its Southwest decor and cozy kiva fireplace created a great Taos experience. Every amenity was available for our entertainment, and the kitchen was well-equipped and stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed Casita Perdida and our time in Taos!

This house is fantastic and the perfect getaway to relax and unwind, or focus and work. The view from the house is stunning, the access is easy, and the house is extremely comfortable, including radiant floors! Randy is an exceptional host and extremely hospitable. I plan on staying here again.

“Casita Perdido was the just the get-away that we needed!”

Reviewed 28 Oct 2010

We stayed at Casita Perdido for our one year anniversary and it was just what we needed! The little house is removed just enough from the city that we felt like we were really able to appreciate Taos for its natural beauty. We especially enjoyed our daily walks with our dogs. Gorgeous views and a very comfortable, cozy place! We loved the kiva fireplace...the perfect place to tuck away from reality for a weekend or week! The owners are so welcoming, are respectful of your privacy and truly want you to enjoy your stay.

“A wonderful haven perfectly situated in Taos!”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2010

Casita Perdido offered a wonderful haven for the two weeks we stayed there. I would highly recommend this property to people looking for a lovely rental space with the feel of a well-tended home. The views from the portal of the Taos landscape, especially of Taos Mountain and the Taos Pueblo lands complete with pueblo horses, are inspiring no matter the weather. The full moon rose up over the mountain during our stay, and flooded its light across the living room, adding to the light from the fire we had burning in the kiva-style fire place during most of our time there. The casita is perfectly located for easy access to all of the attractions and activities that Taos offers. Randy and Sondra were very attentive to our needs without ever encroaching upon our privacy. We felt at home during our time there, and were grateful to Randy and Sondra for their hospitality and generosities of spirit.

“Absolutely perfect place to stay while in Taos!”

My wife and I really enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Casita Perdido. It was conveniently located, affordably priced, and very comfortable. The views are incredible. Randy was very helpful with suggestions for shopping, dining, sightseeing, etc. We will definitely stay here again.

“Beautiful Landscape and Wonderul Castita”

Reviewed 15 Aug 2010

Casita Perdido is a fantastic place to stay if you are looking for a location close to Taos shop's and restaurant's, but desire a quiet, peaceful place to sleep. Randy and Sondra Phillips were very gracious host's. The Casita was very clean and the southwestern touches in the decor were lovely. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub while gazing up at the stars, and the view from the front porch is magnificant. We will definitely be returning to Casita Perdido!
