“SUPER PLACE TO STAY IN LONDON”
My wife and I vacationed with another couple in London for a week after a river cruise. We found this flat on Flip Key. We had a GREAT stay. Matthew, the owner, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The flat is in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to the tube, a couple of grocery stores, and several restaurants. The flat is laid out well and has a very nice quiet garden for kicking back at the end of a day of sightseeing. This will be our "go to" place the next time we visit London. Highly recommend it.
“Fantastic 2 Weeks in London - Summer 2011”
Our stay at 22 Dalyell this summer could not have been better. My wife and three children (17,19, & 21) spent several weeks in London with stays of 4 and 5 days on either end of the vacation at 22 Dalyell. The flat was clean and cared for as advertised, and Matt was completely attentive and helpful whenever we had a question or sought advice. It's a 5 minute walk to several tube stops, and a short trip to central London. It was a touch small for 5, but not bad at all. Perfect for 4. We went to the city every day, and many evenings, with no issues, and also took advantage of local restaurants, and even saw the opening of Harry Potter in the Lambeth theatre. Lambeth is not as posh as some areas, but this flat is a great mix of a nice flat at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend.

Symbolic for Matt's hospitality: when we let him know that we would arrive hours later than expected due to the late arrival of the Eurostar, he decided to switch on the lights and draw the curtains. A warm welcome and the beginning of a delightful holiday in an apartment which left hardly anything to be desired. A place where the tired daytripper finds space, comfortable furniture, perfect beds, in short, all the amenities which are so often lacking in an average holiday home. We also enjoyed living in the middle of a residential London quarter. And Matt always there to help us when needed. A real host.
“Perfect and Comfortable”
My friend and I absolutely loved staying here. As many others have commented, the beds...Oh my. They are the most comfortable beds, ever. The flat is well equipped with plenty of amenities. There are pubs and restaurants nearby, groceries within walking distance, etc. Matthew is such an accomodating and helpful host. We have zero complaints about our experience.

My friend and I loved this place.It is off the beaten tourist path which allows you to submerge yourself into London culture. Three tube stations close by to quickly get to all the touristy places, great pubs and restaurants too. Mathew is a very nice and accomodating host and him living so close by came in handy a few times when we needed things. And the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in! I will go to London again and I will definitely stay here when I go!
“Beautifully decorated, good location, friendly people.”
Lovely place to stay - very well presented, great to have 2 bed/bath plus the sofa bed. Not designed for families w/ small children, but we were made very welcome and had a lovely and very enjoyable holiday. A lucky find and we would like to stay again.
“Five star appartment - quite a find”
Attention to detail is what sets a great hotel apart from a good one - there are so many flats to rent for a vacation that are simly flats being let out - this appartment has been designed with a short term visitior in mind and with attention to detial that is rare indeed. Quite the best value stay in the capital you could imagine.
“Great London Experience”
This apt is newly remodeled, beautifully decorated with modern furniture and appliances. Matthew is extremely honest, dependable, reliable, and personable. We enjoyed staying there using his cozy accommodations and home like atmosphere. It is also centrally located with in the same zone areas to visit some of the major tourist sites ( Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Top Shop, etc.) saving you time and money in catching the subway without transferring. We enjoyed staying there and will visit him again in the future. Mathew also provides you with detailed directions to get to local sites - pubs & restaurants. He helped to make our first stay a great experience - exceeded our expectations.
“Fantastic London Flat!”
22 Dalyell Road is a fantastic apartment just a few minutes in the tube from central London. The apartment is very comfortable and impecably furnished with quality and style. Beds are super comfy, if not careful you can sleep until noon! 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms is a great find! a jewel!
“Comfortable, and well located space - highly recommended”
Overall we had a great stay and the owner could not have been more helpful. We wanted somewhere close to Brixton so the location was excellent for us. The accomodation is stylishly and newly decorated, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped for a short stay. The patio space is pleasent and light but without shade so an umbrella for sunny days is recommended. While the open plan living room / kitchen is a good sized space the bedrooms and bathrooms are economical in size and storage space is limited so best suited to shorter stays. Both bedrooms open on to the patio area by double glass doors. However, it seems neither room has a seperate window so there is no way to ventilate the rooms unless the doors are open - which proved a problem at night when we preferred to lock the patio doors for security. I am sure this could easily be addressed and have no doubt the landlord will. We highly recommend this apartment.
