LORNA featured in the Sydney Morning Heralds 52 Weekends Away , Australia & NZ, 2009 with a glowing recommendation. With Top Vacation Rental award from Trip Advisor for 2010 & 2011 and Silver Top Vacation Rental 2013 .The cootage is a small absolutely charming refurbished original 1890s miners cottage ,within easy walking distance of Leura village .

Lorna is set in large garden with charm of mountain retreat . Within the garden are several areas to dine have lunch / breakfast or just relax under the big trees & read.

Fully self-contained, the house provides accommodation for 4 people It has 2 large bedrooms , fabulous kitchen , dining room lounge room , 2 bathrooms .

A lovely romantic get away suitable for two couples .

It has central heating ( the fire places are ornamental ) , laundry ,off street parking & will be your own exclusive sanctuary .

The minimum stay is 2 nights , please refer to rates .

Leura itself is a charming, historic town in the Blue Mountains of NSW, less than 2 hours drive from Sydney making it perfect for a weekend retreat or week long adventure. Centrally located for all transport, bus and rail, it is the perfect location to explore the World Heritage Blue Mountains sights. These include The Three Sisters and Echo Point as well as surrounding towns of Wentworth Falls, Katoomba, Blackheath, and Mt Victoria.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send CAROLINE (the owner) a message.

If CAROLINE (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
