“Recent reno - clean and bright with good location!”

Reviewed 6 Jul 2011

Apartment exceeded our expectations. Recently renovated, located within the old city walls. All you need within walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay. Owner was very accommodating.

“well laid out apartment in convenient location”

Comfortable accommodation. Good location and yet quiet when in apartment. Secure apartment. A lovely part of Paris to stay in.

“Perfect Paris Location”

Reviewed 31 Dec 2010

We have stayed at apartments run by this owner before and they are great. Four of us (a couple and two single women) were traveling together and this apartment was perfect for that. There was a queen sized bed and three single beds. It would have been nice to have more bathroom space, but it was adequate and clean. The kitchen was a bonus even though we didn't use it very much. The location was incredible- right by the Saint Paul metro station. There were great restaurants and awesome boutique shopping within a block. The price was fair and I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families or groups of friends. They provided wifi, which was nice. One last detail made this stay really great- the owner was there when she let us in to the apartment. We didn't have quite enough cash to pay for the room, but she trusted us enough to pay her when we left. I thought that was pretty great.

“Lovely area!!!”

Reviewed 23 Dec 2010

The apartment is as represented quite bright feeling as the windows off the courtyard provide a lot of light but there were a few issues. The smaller room is up a short flight of stairs with a door that pulls out of the wall and it is quite tight in space but good for one. The kitchen and living area is not huge but doesn't feel tiny because of the windows etc. There was not one wine glass provided in the kitchen which seemed extremely strange. The washing machine was used often once we figured it out. The free telephone never worked. Isabelle tried to fix but couldn't. She did take us to one of her other apartments to use the phone there but it was a hassle and we only did it once. The light in the bathroom stopped working on the second day and that was never fixed while we were there so we ended up taking a lamp with an extension cord into the toilet room (the bathroom is separated with one room for the toilet and one for the bathtub and vanity) and leaving it there which didn't seem that safe in case there was water on the floor. The big bedroom was nice and had lots of closet space and a lovely window that when you opened the shutters made me feel like I was really in Paris. There was really no noise from outside except for a few times we heard people on the stairs outside the apartment. The biggest disappointment was the apartment only had one key and you had to use the key to lock the door so if I wanted to go out I had to lock Jen in the apartment or meet her somewhere later etc. One of the things I had wanted to have in Paris was freedom to come and go for myself and my daughter and that was lost because of the key issue. The area around the apartment is wonderful and very interesting with lots of shops, bakeries, brasseries etc. There is a lovely alley/street just across from the apartment with a terrific English bookstore among other shops. You could walk to the Seine and Notre Dame. We truly loved the area and would definitely go back again.

Response from the manager Hello Angele and thank you for your detailed feedback. Since january 2009 be sure that the light, telephone, and keys issues were fixed :) we are glad you remember that well your stay in Paris and hope to see you soon in the city of Lights. Regards, PBPI's team

“Introducing the "kids" to European travel through Rome and Paris”

Reviewed 23 Dec 2010

During the kids' school spring breaks, we decided to take a trip, I laid out some guidelines on a globe (Vancouver, Canada, Prgaue, Rome, Hawaii) and said - anywhere in this space. One chose Rome, and the other suggested Paris. The accommodations in both were marvelous - in perfect places to see the cities. It had been many years since being in Paris, but it felt natural to return. The apartment we rented on the Rue Saint anoine was comfortable and very well situated - and the price was perfect. Very easily would I rent again from Be a Part of It - in Paris, but paying to college may be a while. Merci beaucoup.

“Simply perfect!!”

We loved the location of this apartment, it was very close to a metro station, in a very quiet place, a well known neighborhood (Le Marais).
