“Full moon on the water-can't beat it!”

Reviewed 18 Feb 2014

The condo was a relaxing place, the right size to kick back and enjoy the scenery. The amenities were great. We enjoyed cooking at the place; however,we noticed that there weren't any large size pots. I would definitly recommend this place to a friend (and we have)! We would definitly return to this place when we come back to Kauai!

“This place is totally worth it!”

We arrived at check-in time after 12+ hours of travel and our room wasn't ready for us yet, which was odd because we especially noted that we would be there early. Someone must not have communicated that to the housekeepers. We ended up not getting in until two hours later. We didn't let that ruin our day, although the jet-lag was setting in. The view is incredible, with the lighthouse off in the distance. There are lots of speed bumps between the Koloa hwy and the sealodge, which made the .75 drive take a few minutes. The place was a little dusty, which left me with itchy eyes, but it was also an encouragement to go out and see what natural beauty is on the island. I wish I had looked at what was already in the unit, we would have had a ton more space for souveneers! Leave your beach towels, snorkel gear, and extra clothes at home. They provided a ton of stuff plus a washer/dryer! There's no need to bring fancy clothes either, this island's culture is so relaxed. Visit the sealodge beach if you can handle steep terrain. It was the best snorkeling that we had. Another plus is that you are either a bike ride or quick drive to Queens bath and hideaways beach.
