“Great please to stay with your family!”

Reviewed 12 Mar 2014

We had a lovely stay, the condo is beautiful, deco and amenities are excellent You'll have everything to make your holiday memorable!! If you need something there's always there to help you out one call away! We hope to come back soon!

“Great Location, Lot's of potential, mostly unrealized.”

Reviewed 12 Mar 2014

It was difficult to find at night and poorly lit; a map of the property would have been useful. The condo is in an excellent location and has a great layout. All of the data in the description was accurate, the views were spectacular and Princeville is a terrific area. It was clean, and the housekeeping was fine. That said, considering the rental price, we were very disappointed with the overall quality and condition of the condo, and with the support of the on-site agents. The sheets were old and worn out, they actually shredded during our visit. The sliding doors and windows did not work properly, the TV screen was burned out, the carpet on the stairs was dangerously loose and the dishwasher stopped working. The barbeque in the pool house was locked up after 4pm and there was no reliable way to make sure it was available. The on site agents did not return phone calls, and when we did manage to contact them they were of no help at all. This unit needs serious repairs, and the issue of the barbeque availability needs to be addressed, before I would recommend this unit.

Response from the manager The master bathroom has now been remodeled (Mar 2014) and it looks gorgeous. The owner has purchased all new linens and towels (the worn ones belonged to the linen service), and numerous repairs were completed. Unfortunately the club house is outside of our control, the resident manager of the Kamahana complex is responsible for that, but it is not normally closed during the day, guests are welcome to use it. Kamahana 24 is a great value...large condo, wonderful view, budget-friendly rate!

“Beautiful view!”

We were pleasantly surprised when we stepped into the condo. The breezes that flow through the unit were wonderful. They have two ceiling fans in the living room and dining room and fans in both bedrooms. Carpet needs replacing.

“Good rental but tired items in rental”

Owners need to replace bed and bathroom linens. They are thread bear. Stair carpet is loose and could cause an accident.

“Kamahal # 24 was a great place to stay”

The rate was very reasonable (about the same as a single hotel room) but it slept 6 easily. Everything we needed was there - boogy boards, cooler, beach towels, coffee maker, tableware, lawn chairs, and more. The sea breeze kept it cool at night with no a/C after we learned to open windows on both sides of the unit and let the breeze flow thru. Groceries were a mile away, we walked it a couple of times.. Easy access (25 minutes or so to Ke'e Beach to the north and Kapa'a attractions to the south. We loved it.

“Very relaxing!”

I wasnt really expecting too much when we booked this condo back in March(?) but the price was perfect. The condo was a nice surprise. We were very pleased from the moment we walked into the condo. We usually rent a house because we like privacy and to kind of get away from it all but this year we were staying for 3 weeks so we needed something a little cheaper and more practical. The condo was nicely decorated and had everything we needed... lounge chairs, sun hats, water shoes, buggy boards and snorkel gear! My husband and I plus 3 teens had plenty of room for privacy (my son had the pull out queen sofa bed which was the coolest room for sleeping) One day we stayed home and watched videos and read (plenty of movies and books) We all felt at home and comfortable. We were in walking distance to the sealodge beach which was beautiful, not a swimming beach great for paddling toddlers and babies. There is a view of the ocean and a great view of the golf course. We were all able to go for runs and keep fit while we were there so bring your running shoes! I would recommend this condo to anyone. The only down side was the noisy people downstairs because windows need to be kept open for sleeping and the master bedroom was a little hot (no breeze) but saying that there were plenty of fans and we did get used to it!

“What a great trip....”

This condo gave us a very homey feeling. The lanai had a great view of the ocean. The only thing we wished the room had was air conditioning; it got a little muggy in the condo. But all in all, we had a great time in the north area of Kauai.
