“Satisfactory rental condo on Kauai's north shore.”
Overall, the condo was satisfactory and met our needs. The view was excellent, and the condo was very quiet and comfortable. This condo had a several maintenance issues...more than with other condos we had rented in the same complex. A couple were adequately corrected by maintenance personnel. However, several would have required more extensive repair. The sliding door to the lanai worked very poorly...we fixed it on a temporary basis. The carpet on the lanai was of course wet after every rain...a tile flooring would have been much better. We left a list of repairs needed.
“lovely place to stay”
We enjoyed our stay at alii Kai. Very nice condo with amazing views of the ocean. Well equipped, tidy and clean. Great location, quiet, but short drive away from the grocery store and not quite 10 minutes drive to beautiful Hanalei Bay. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this lovely condo to our friends.
This condo was perfect. Located right above Turtle Cave with 180 degree ocean views... What more could you want? Conveniently located to numerous beaches (some very small and secluded) as well by FoodMart. Tom is an awesome neighbor in the building next door (he most likely will be the one sharing the community grill with you). The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and nicely updated. I loved that they had boogie boards, beach chairs and towels. Also, being able to do laundry was so helpful. I will most definitely be reaching out to lease this particular unit again. “Beautiful condo in Princeville”
We stayed at alli Kai 4303 form Jan 31st to Feb 9th. It was great! Very roomy,clean and well maintained. We could actually see whales jumping out of the water from our lanai. Speaking of the lanai, the screen door was not working as it came out of the track. We did call the maintenance man but did not get a response until later in the week. It was not a big deal but I would have appreciated a call back instead of the guy just dropping off his card while we were out. We loved the location and would stay there again. The king sized bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have the big walk-in closet with beach towels and chairs to use.
“A Place of Dis-Repair”
Here is a list of what we found when we arrived: 1.Broken screen door and torn screed 2.Filthy and stained carpet 3.Missing window screens 4.Broken crank to window 5.Dry wall rotting around bedroom and bathroom window frames 6.Black mildew or mold in master bathroom 7.Shower curtain ripped and torn 8.Cockroaches and bugs 9.Toilet in master bathroom not working 10.Water valve to master toilet leaking 11.Dishwasher missing bottom panel 12.Many window screens need replacing as bugs and insects can get in 13.Missing Poster from poster bed 14.Areas need painting. We have been to Kauai many times and have never encountered a place that is in so much need of cleaning and repairs.

Scheduled pest control We agree that this unit was in need of repairs and deeply regret the inconvenience to the guest.
