“Fabulous Mountain House for Larger Groups”

Reviewed 17 Jan 2017

This large and well-appointed mountain house (it's hardly a cabin) was perfect for the annual weekend get-away for our group of 10 adults. Lots of space, open concept, great kitchen, five bedrooms, and four baths. One bedroom is very small with a double bed, so cozy is the word. One bedroom has two sets of bunks, so a bit tight for adults, but workable (honestly, how much time do you spend in a bedroom anyway?). Nice four-person hot tub on the deck. Large Weber grill. Close to hiking/snowshoeing in the Wild Basin area. Easy access from Highway 7. Felt the price was reasonable for all this space. Pinebrook Vacation Rental management is wonderful and very easy to work with. We'll be back next year - thank you!

Response from the manager Thank you so very much for taking the time to write this very complimentary review. We look forward to your next stay in January 2018. Sandy, Pinebrook Vacation Rentals

“Superfabulous in location, comfort ,wildlife, hiking and more.”

Reviewed 17 Oct 2013

The home was very lovely in décor and comfort. We had a very nice size kit. with everything we needed along with coffee and filters to get us started. We were there for a family wedding and everyone was very jealous of our place. Some of them are talking about a ski vacation there. Thanks from the Kukuska girls in Mn. and Wi.

“A very nice well appointed lodge that is well attended to”

Reviewed 17 Oct 2013

We rented River Run to host some family and bridesmaids for our daughter's September 2013 wedding. Sandy is the property manager, made herself available, and attended to every detail when we had a minor issue. The house is spacious, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We did think the living room could use a couple more lamps but overall it was comfortable. When you receive your confirmation letter, hang onto it and make a note in your iphone or wall calendar. I was expecting a reminder letter for the balance due, but once your deposit is acknowledged, you don't get another notice. The children and bridesmaids thought I was a rock star for scoring this home for a great wedding week-end. It was walking distance to Wild River Basin Lodge which worked very well for decorating early for a late afternoon wedding.

“Beautiful cabin and great location!”

Reviewed 9 Jul 2013

We enjoyed this beautiful cabin the beginning of June. Our daughter's wedding was at Wild Basin Lodge so it was also very convenient. I reserved a number of cabins nearby for family and they were nice but River Run was definitely more luxurious. The hot tub was used every day! Almost every morning and evening we sat out on the deck. One morning a moose came very close to the cabin and just hung out a while eating aspen leaves! I am glad we put the hummingbird feeder out because it was fun to watch those amazing little birds. We also saw a moose and some deer while hiking in close by Rmnp. We drove to Estes Park a few times. It's a beautiful drive and saw wild life every time. We ate almost every meal at the cabin. It was nice to have a grill and plenty of seating inside and out. It was very warm for the beginning of June and there are no window coverings on a lot of the windows so it got pretty warm upstairs. I think it would be nice to have the option of blocking out the sun sometimes in those upstairs bedrooms. We were concerned about not having cell phone service but the land line and wifi worked out pretty well. Sandy at Pinebrook Vacation Rentals was very nice and helpful when we had any questions. (Thanks Sandy!) I would love to stay at River Run again!

“Beyond sensational!”

I challenge anyone to find a rental that is more beautifully appointed and grandly accommodating than this 3 suite home! If you have a wedding at Wild Basin lodge, don't consider any other rental. Pricey... Yes. But my family from Wisconsin and Texas felt it made their stay in Colorado a most memorable one. Thanks to those that make such a phenomenal home available. If I owned it, I would never leave!

“nice stay”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2012

Very lovely home fit our family need for a wedding stay. Was not equiped as it should have been - no wine glasses, plastic water glasses, not enough washcloths - disappointing since when we had checked it out in the spring it had been decked out. Also difficult parking. the home was lovely.

“Another unforgetable weekend”

“Mountian Fresh!”

Reviewed 10 Jul 2011

Wonderful retreat! We had grandparents, sister and family, and ourselves. Fun to be with the whole family under one roof! Enjoyed filling the hummingbird feeder and watching them all day! They are a little camera shy but was able to get some great pictures. With 10 people in the house everyone had good night sleeps, only thing bad is that thier were not enough glasses in the cubboard, seems we had to wash them constantly. Otherwise just bring paper cups with you. Looking forward to returning one day!!! Thank you Pinebrook vacations!

“Great location for Wild Basin Wedding”

Reviewed 13 Jun 2010

Very nice, recently build home with lots of room for large families. Bed rooms on three floors offered great Separation, yet large gathering areas. Not far from Estes Park and a great place to stay for a Wild Basin Wedding just down the road.
