Very nice, bigger than I expected and had a beautiful view. There was a nice welcome basket on the table for us and a folder of information we might need!!! Would stay again, only one complaint was that it was diffucult to find in the dark our first night, the back roads arent marked very well. Thanks, The Kulzers

Response from the manager Thank you for your kind comments. Yes, we are up in the "boonies" and arriving before dark is a good plan. Sandy Pinebrook Vacation Rentals

“A majestic vacation”

A wonderful apartment below the owner's home (Sandy). It is very peaceful and quiet, within a forest, with lots of privacy. The apartment is very comfortable and clean, with a beautiful & warm design. The outdoor hot tub is a real treat! Sandy is lovely!

Response from the manager Thank you so much for your kind comments. We look forward to your next visit. Sandy Pinebrook Vacation Rentals

Great Value, perfect location-easy drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Loved the hot tub after a long days hike. Peaceful and quiet-great place to unwind.

Loved "The Refuge", so quaint & charming. Sandy really makes it feel like home. Clean, comfortable, convenient...what else? Oh, the hot tub, the deck, grilling freshly caught trout...I could go on & on. Hope to visit again someday.

It was a very nice set up, the biggest problem was the weather was damp and rainy and we did not have control of the heating and when it got to running every min and no shut off time it was not easy to get sleep. then it was to hot and at 4 am we were not calling upstairs to get the heat adjusted. I guess we just came the wrong time of year. the hot tub we enjoyed,

We (my wife and I and another couple) got up to the cabin late Friday night with couple of feet of snow on the ground. Felt nice to get inside and warm up. The cabin was very cozy, we had a wonderful time relaxing and cooking dinner. The hot tub was great. One night the snow was blowing a little hard to be out there but we braved it for about an hour or so. We ran to town and did some shopping then came back and relaxed with some cold ones. It was a great valentine’s day weekend. Much fun was had by all. I would recommend it to anybody that wanted to surprise their better half.

We really enjoyed our stay. Wish it could have been longer. Most of the needed amenities were there. We saw some deer, lots of chipmonks and hummingbirds, very relaxing. If you want to stay there with more than 3 adults, it would be nice to have an extra bathroom.
