Stayed here in late January with husband and toddler. Great ski- in & out location. Lovely furnishings, comfortable and quaint atmosphere. Check-in & out was a breeze. Had to leave early due to child's illness, but would definitely return!
Response from the manager We're glad that you enjoyed your time at this property! We're sorry to hear that you had to leave a little early, but we do hope to see you back in Keystone for a future visit!
“very nice condo with several exceptions would not rent again”
1. directions were somewhat vague, had to go around the Keystone main road and turn 2. condo very clean, but had three really powerful oil scent diffusers with a very unpleasant scent, it really made my 5 day stay unpleasant. If the condo owner is going to put scent diffusers, maybe they could but ones that just neutralize odors, the ones they have were very offensive 3, carpet really needs replacing, for the cost of the rental for the summer season, I expected better, cleaner carpet underfoot ( lots of long human hairs that got stuck on bare feet when walking across the living room floor, etc) 4. The most difficult, distressing problem was the Thursday night of my stay- after a long day in conferences, I took my book and a glass of wine out to the hot tub to relax (it was about 7:30pm) It never occured to me to take my cell phone. I sat out in the warm water for about an hour, then I went back to the condo (on the first floor, but about 1/2 story above ground level) but my key card would not open the door. I tried numerous times. At about 9pm a very polite young man with a polo shirt indicating that he worked at The Timbers, wandered by and I asked him if he had any way to let me into the condo that I had rented now that my key card did not work. He replied that he knew of an emergency key that worked for one of the management companies- not the management company that rented to me. He got that key, and gave it to me. Unfortunately that key card did not work in my condo door, as it was a different management company. By this time it was quite dark, there was no one around (summer low season). I did not know what to do, had no way to contact my mg. co. I ended up climbing up the rock wall 1/2 story (middle aged woman in wet bathing suit) and over the balcony, into the condo thur the patio doors- moral- always take cell phone!!!
Response from the manager While we are glad to hear that you enjoyed this beautiful condo, we are sorry to hear that your stay was not perfect. We would like to take this opportunity to remind future guests that our staff is available by phone 24/7 in case of an emergency, question, or any concern. We realize that was not possible in this guests' situation. We will pass your suggestions on regarding the scent diffusers for the owner's consideration. We have recently updated our directions section in the confirmation in order to make it more clear for our guests.
This condo was everything and more than expected..from the furnishings, location, and location! The amenties were supberb! would go again!!
The unit is fantastic and the SummitCove people where outstanding like always. I have rented with them before and would rent with them again. I will be in Keystone for 2 weeks again 2012 but I started to foster a rescue dog and flanked and ended up adopting the dog. If your company would offer some rentals where you can bring a small dog I would rent with you any time again. My husband and I will come back every year til we get to old to ski and I think we will be back many more times but with a dog in tow. We did find a nice town home in walking distance to the village for next year. But the Timbers 3058 is a wonderful condo and the location is great and the entire building is outstanding. If I wouldn't have the dog I would rent it again but I understand having dogs in that building wouldn't work!!!
“Ski in!! Ski out?”
Being fiscally conservative (my wife says cheapskate), I thought it was over-priced (as are most condos). Comparatively speaking, however, the cost wasn't too bad. The condo and building were very comfortable with plenty of amenities. I should have asked for more details on what was in the condo as that would have prompted us to do more of our own cooking (losts of stuff in the kitchen). There was easy access to the building from the slopes, but not so easy getting to the lifts; it was better than 95% of the lodging in Keystone though. Overall, a great week with my wife (sans kids). I would stay there again.
Response from the manager We're glad that you had a great time in Keystone. We welcome our guests to contact us with any additional questions that may come up about the property you are staying in. We hope to see you again soon!
“Family Ski Trip, 2011”
Loved the property. I looked at other River Run properties, but decided to spend the extra money for the location, amenities, and the overall look and feel of the property. Common areas were very clean, and our condo was perfect for my family of 4. We had plenty of room to sprawl out. The gas fireplace threw out tons of heat, and the kitchen had every pot/pan that I needed to whip up lunches and dinners. Fantastic space! Would love to come back.
Response from the manager Thank you so much for staying with us! We look forward to seeing your family again in the future!
“Very nice accomidations in an excellent setting”
Greet place to take in the local scenery and activity
“Great place to stay”
Loved it. Very nice; good location; nice facilities. Would definitely come back.
This place rocked! Beautifully decorated and set up with all the creature comforts, even a hot tub bath, not to mention the "ski in & out" location. We loved it - was the best place we've stayed to date.
Our stay at the Timbers was really nice. This particular unit was everything it claimed to be. The only small issues were: dryer efficiency, fireplace and lobby amnenities were not available until late morning, towels for pool were not always available, and lack of communication of how to obtain info during our stay. These truly were minor issues. The good was so good it voided them. Love the location, decor, and this specific condo. Skiing and ski instructor (Walter) was the best. Tubing was FUN but I highly recommend doing it during the day. It wascold at night. And the Aspen glo stube was awesomeness!!
