“Vacation w/Family”

Reviewed 17 Aug 2012

Upon arrival the unit was clean and very nicely furnished. There were a few items lacking (coffee filters-good thing I brought my own) and minimal trash bags. However the location was great for walking to the shops & just a short distance to the pool. My son-in-law loved the grill set up on the lani however, we set off the smoke alarm & couldn't figure out right away which smoke alarm was going off. After the first experience w/the smoke alarm, we were good to go. It was an enjoyable time with my daughter & her family. So glad we went. Mahalo

“Great Place and Location!”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2012

This condo is equipped with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Excellent location with only walking minutes to Queens Marketplace and Kings Shops. We spent early hours and warm evenings walking to either places, otherwise, we relaxed out the lovely lanai and poolside. It is also walking distance to A-Bay Beach behind Marriot for kayaking and snorkeling. During the day, we spent short distant drive to different white sand beaches, historical refuge park, Kona, Mauna Lani. Instead of driving or walking for a visit to Hilton Resort on a hot day, we took a round trip shuttle from Kings Place. In one day we were able to drive northward to Kilauai Volcano and Hilo; unfortunately, a lot of rain in northeast side. Then we returned in the south side and stayed at the black sand beach for a while. It was so wonderful to return to the sunny and warmer weather in Waikoloa. This vacation was our family reunion for 19, so we rented two other large units. This unit is next to one of the larger unit which made it so convenient. I certainly recommend this property to my friends.

“Waikoloa Beach Villas”

Reviewed 17 Feb 2012

We needed a rental with very short notice. The property management responded quickly and were very efficient. We noticed an item missing after our arrival, and once again the response was quick and the item delivered. The condo had lovely decor. An area rug for the sound would be a nice addition. (And might be a good suggestion for the condo above). The kitchen was well supplied and appreciated the use of the coolers. Loved the outdoor kitchen, view and the grounds were immaculate. Also nice to have a garage. Thank you.

“Beach Villas D3 Christmas 2011”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2012

Sound insulation in the unit is very poor, could hear people above all the time and noise from the road is clearly heard. The wine fridge was not working when we arrived (not a problem for us, but should be fixed), the blind above the kitchen sink was very dirty. These are minor issues for us, and we enjoyed our stay, very convenient for shopping, restaurants and beach (the pool is a little small, but we expected it to be busy over the holidays). Overall, a good place to stay.

Response from the manager Thank you for your response. We really appreciate heads up on problems that need attention, and we will get to that blind and wine cooler. As for the noise, it is unfortunate that overhead and road noise can be an issue with that unit, and folks who are especially sensitive to noise will be made aware by your comments. We have actually never heard any complaints about road noise, but it's true that overhead noise can be an issue if tenants are not aware. If one is especially sensitive to noise, it's a good idea to choose a top floor unit.

“January 2010 stay at Waikoloa Beach Villas D3”

The facilities were great. Our only complaint was the lack of natural light in the unit. Lights had to be turned on even during the day. Everything else was wonderful.

“Liked the Property”

Liked the property and its location. Disappointed that even though we paid a check out cleaning fee we were required to do the laundry or risk additional charges.

“Best Holiday yet”

Wow what a trip. Resortica Hawaii were a charm to deal with. Complex out of this world and condo home from home. We will be back next year.
