“Wonderful and relaxing weekend getaway with great friends!”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2013

Great, other than finding somewhat hazardous material that was left in cottage by either prior guests or cleaning service. Was surprised to see that management wasn't too concerned about same with small children staying in cottage.

“check in a nightmare! time spent on Palm Island was paradise”

We have stayed at Palm Island for many years. It is by far the best vacation spot for families that just want to get away from their hectic lifestyle.

“PI getaway”

Reviewed 25 Jul 2013

Every year we meet up with friends and their families in Palm is a yearly event that we look forward to along with our children. We have created such wonderful and long lasting memories. The employees have always been welcoming and accommodating to our needs. We look forward to our Palm Island experience next year.

“Heaven on earth. So peaceful and beautiful”

Reviewed 23 May 2013

Beautiful and peaceful beach. You barely see any people. Like your own private island with an amazing beach house. Love it

Response from the manager Iva, Palm Island Resort is the exact right place for a ‘needed weekend at the beach’. The sunsets are wonderful and the uninterrupted view of the Gulf of Mexico is a real treat that we are pleased to share with our guests. Let us know when you are ready to visit again. We’ll have your slice of paradise waiting for you!

“My favorite get away spot in Florida.”

Palm Island is surrounded by the natural beauty of old Florida. It's beauty and serenity keep me coming back along with the friendly and accommodating staff at the resort.

“Awesome Beach Getaway”

Reviewed 10 Sep 2012

This place was a treasure to find. We have lived in Florida for almost 20 years and never heard of the island (and we only live one hour south of it). Our family and friends had a wonderful time relaxing on the island, playing tennis, going to the beach, and driving the golf carts. We collected many shells that I brought back with us and keep on my desk at work and at home to remind me of the wonderful time we had. We almost don't want to let the secret out about this place.

“Storm”

We were their during the storm, couldn't get out of our condo all week. Was a miserable stay.

“Still Having Nightmares About It”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2011

What a disaster. The land that time forgot. No cell phone service or poor service. Only one restaurant that did NOT do breakfast. Coffee and a cookie just doesn't cut it first thing in the morning, especially for an establishment that claims to be a resort. Rooms were pleasant but dated, with twin beds more appropriate for children. Had to rely on guys to pick us up in golf carts to get around the island. Call for a pick up... one in three chance your call would go through. We're supposed to bring our own food? Give me a break... I don't think so. The "general store" was more of a gift shop and there wasn't much food. Plenty of bait... you could eat well if you are a fish. Was very happy to leave; at least I could make a call or eat when I wanted to. Like being stranded on Gilligan's Island only worse; somehow I'm sure they would have figured out a way to make a cell phone call.
