“Amazing holiday place to stay!!!”

Reviewed 8 Oct 2013

We have rented Tina's apartment twice now from sydney australia and plan on returning yearly. The location is right across the road from the most beautiful beach in Hawaii. Tina is an amazing host making sure the room is spotless and even stocking it with coffee and bread. The bed is Really comfortable and the room has everything you need to cook if you don't feel like eating out. The bathroom is updated and the bedding is beautiful. They even have kyacks for rent which is great. I can't say enough about her place. She is a lovely host and we look forward to coming every year. Thanks Tina for having us. You are like family! Heather

“Best vacation”

Reviewed 7 Aug 2012

We had a wonderful vacation. I was on Ohau for my Navy son's wedding. We stayed at Kailua Hale-Ohana. Everyting was perfect. We were close to everything, but away from the busy city. Staying at this cute little studio added the perfect personal touch to our vacation. Tina was so friendly, she made us feel like family. I hope to return as soon as possialbe.

“Kailua Hale Ohana is like a breathe of fresh air”

Reviewed 10 Jun 2012

The studio is well placed in Kailua being within a 20 mins walk to the central shops, Kailua Beach only about 5 minutes and also Lanikai Beach about 20-25 minutes walk. It is private and has a very comfortable bed. Tina is the perfect host. Found her map directory invaluable for driving and walking purposes.

“Romantic, affordable and fun!”

Reviewed 19 Mar 2012

My husband Eric and I only had a week at our beautiful studio apartment in Kailua, but it left lasting memories. It was just the right combination of a beautiful, secluded garden with access to the beach and town nearby. We also appreciated Tina's expert advice about what to see and do in Kailua and enjoyed kayaking and hiking in the local hills. We used the family bikes to go to town and buy dinner at a local store and then grilled it just outside our room. We also enjoyed the many thoughtful touches in our accommodations and interacting with Tina's lovely family. My only request would be to make it a bit easier to find in the dark. Other than that, it was perfect.

“Relaxing, Cozy and Clean”

Reviewed 2 Feb 2012

This is a great place to put up your feet and relax. We loved having our own yard, shaded by tropical plants and trees, with a dining table to enjoy our meals or a glass of wine. The studio is clean and private. This place is the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. We love the fact that the studio is close to the beach and an easy walk to town. Tina is a great person to talk to about what to do and where to go in Kailua and Oahu.

“Very clean, relaxing and affordable stay close to amazing beach”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2011

We loved our stay in Kailua at the Kailua Hale Ohana and highly recommend it as a peaceful get-away. The place was super clean, quiet and had the perfect location for the price (literally 2 min walk to the beach). The place looks like it was just built and is beautiful. Tina had everything we needed to enjoy the beach from a cooler to snorkeling gear and boogie boards. There were wine glasses, utensils, coffee, bottle opener...everything you need to have a great time! The only thing we can think of to make it better would be air conditioning but then again we were only really warm the last 2 nights when the wind died down and we were very comfortable besides that. The bed is very nice! We drove around pretty much the whole island over our 9 days and the beach in Kailua and lanikai (right next to it) was the most beautiful. We hope to go back sometime soon!!!

“Great Location, Great Host”

I stayed there with a friend and loved it. Tina and her husband are wonderful host. The studio was nice and quiet, and is 2 block from the beach, with a lot of shopping and restaurant nearby. i'm looking forward to my next stay in Kailua.

“Nice”

Reviewed 21 Oct 2010

The place was clean and nice. The area is great and the best place to eat was Buzz's. Great food and it had air-condition by the bar, which we loved .
