Apartments „Miodrag“ are located in the tourist area of Zadar .Built in 2004 they are comfortable and spacious,nicely furnished and equipped,each with its own private entrance and parking space.The house is very ventilated and illuminated.They are located only two hundred meters from the sea and the beach,and are also near the heart of the historic city of Zadar which is only about 800 m from the apartments.
Apartment Miodrag II is organized with a equipped open kitchen.located in a sunny living room.In the living room there are sofa bed where one person can sleep confortable,a kitchen table with chairs and a wide screen SAT-TV, WI-FI Internet,air conditioning.The living room area is large and offers a spacious dinning room adjacent to the kitchen.The kitchen is a fully equipped suite in the great Dalmatian culinary and gastronomic tradition,is practical and functional and has everything for those who enjoy cooking.From the living room we can accede to the bedroom with a double bed and to another bedroom with two beds.Every bedroom has own balcony where you can enjoy the sun shine and panoramic view.It is still lovely to be sitting outside in the warm.The large bathroom (6,5mq) is equipped with shower, bathtub,bidet,WC.
Also you will enjoy of a big barbecue in a nice yard.
Quiet place with beautiful beaches. It is a good choice for families with children,ideal for adults looking for lither relaxation or activity based holiday, a group of friends and couples.
In the radius of 30-300 meters,you will find everything that you may need during your vacation,including restaurants,post office,foreign exchange office,bank,pharmacy,stores,tennis courts,sailing,surfing and diving, and yacht club Vitrenjak.
The main caratteristic of Apartment Miodrag I is to offer a welcoming atmosphere and as such allow for relaxation,rest and peaceful sleep in a comfortable and attractive ambiance.We are always at your disposal to ensure that you have a wonderful happy and relaxing vacation in our accomodation.
Situated across the bay from old town, it is a lovely 20 min. walk along the harbour front where you can see the boats and pass by some nice cafes and bars and the beach is only 5 min. away or 5 minutes stroll to the extremely cheap bus which takes you directly to old town.
The area is quiet and residential – very comfortable and pretty, calm and felt safe to walk around at night. When you go to visit Old Town by walk you can also use the small rowboat to across from one side to another side of Zadar's harbour (short distance-some minutes by rowboat).What gondoliers mean to Venice,barkajoli mean to Zadar.It is very long tradition,for over 800 years they have been connecting two ends of Zadar.
There are shops and several restaurants within walking distance well priced, some serving delicious food and wine. I would recommend hiring bikes as there are lots of lovely places to visit within easy cycling distance.
Zadar is a city rich in spiritual and material culture,as well as in a tourist identity.Zadar is also a unique treasury of ancient,medieval and Renaissance archaeology and architecture.
The excellent location of the apartment allows you to reach by foot the most famous historical sites in Zadar like: THE SEA ORGAN-something absolutely unique-the world's first pipe organ that's played by the sea,Greeting to the sun, Five wells square,The captain's tower, City Forum (The Roman forum-the largest on this side of the Adriatic), City Gates,City Lodge,City Sentinel,City Walls,St Donatus church,City market,Theatres,Museums (National Museum Zadar,The Museum of Ancient Glass,Archeological Museum),Galleries,Religious collection etc.
The Zadar island group are especially attractive for guests.There are about 150 in Zadar island group and together with the Kornati islands amount to 300!Once you decide to make an excursion to island Ugljan from Zadar you will reach them in a 30 minutes only.

“Ok place, but a couple problems”
The owner, Nico, is a nice man and the apartment itself if fine, but there are two things that I look for in an apartment - laundry and wifi - that this place didn't really have either. I double-checked to make sure I didn't make a mistake in booking, but I didn't. Under amenities (at the time of my booking), it lists washing machine and internet. There was a washing machine in the garage, but it is no longer working. There was no wifi initially, it's not offered in the flat, but on our second day Nico did take us to a telecom store and buy a service (the plug into a computer variety). He paid for this, but it would have been nice to have this available when we first arrived (as it took close to an hour the following morning to do). I don't think he meant to deceive us, but the listing wasn't accurate and had I known that about the flat, I wouldn't have booked it. The flat itself is fine, but it's a very long walk to the old town. We also didn't enjoy Zadar as much as other coastal cities, so overall, our stay here was a bit of a bust.
“Excellent host and great apartment”
This was my first visit to Zadar. Thanks to Nico we had a great start, he pick up us at the airport, took us for grocery shopping and showed us the beatiful old town! Nico was available and service minded at all times! We stayed in 2 bed apartment, which had everything you need for cooking breakfast, nice beds and chair and table to sit and enjoy the sunshine in the balcony. One beach is about 5min away and the other one in Borik is 15-20min. The area is peacefull and quite. We used to walk to Zadar, about 20min away, along the sea and took the bus back. Zadar is a beatiful city, we loved the food and the relaxed atmosphere! Other places i really loved were the Plivitce lakes and Kornati islands, amazing nature!!! Overall, we were very happy with our holiday and would definetely come back to Zadar and stay here again.
“Modern app. with nice surronding.”
Niko was very serviceminded, he picked us up at the airport and give us a sigtseeingtour in Zadar city. He show us the beach and also show us some nice restaurants. The flat was very nice with a lot of space. There is restaurants and supermarkets nearby the app. We can highly recommend a stay at Nikos appartment!
We arrived late and Niko waited at the end of the road for us.The kids loved the rooms and the location. 10 mins from zadar city by car/bus,handy local shops and supermarkets. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Wish there was access to a pool but the sea was good.
We stayed in Apartments Miodrag in Zadar. Nico met us at the airport and for a modest fee brought us to the apartment, giving us a tour of Zadar city on the way. He pointed out the landmarks that were later useful to us and showed us the local shop and bus stops. His apartments are lovely,clean, modern and well equipped, in a nice residential area, with a choice of lovely beaches in walking distance. We mostly walked in and out of the old city of Zadar, a very pleasant walk along the coast, about 20 mins. Zadar old city is a wonderful place to visit, full of atmosphere and history. We had a wonderful day on one of the local islands, which can be reached by a ferry, costing about €8 return. We also went on a day trip around the islands, the highlight of the holiday. Nico was always available, without being around too much. He,and his parents who live next door, are hospitable and friendly. I would recommend hiring bikes as there are lots of lovely places to visit within easy cycling distance. Zadar and the surrounding area have plenty of good restaurants, well priced, some serving delicious food, but the wine choice was limited. I would recommend Zadar for a holiday for older people and those who like water-based activities, perhaps there is not enough there for younger people who are looking for lively night life. It is a truly beautiful place with astounding scenery.
“4 days in May”
We really enjoyed our stay at Miodrag apartments. Our host was very kind and helpful and the apartment was super clean and well kept. The apartment is located right outside of center, you can walk but the best thing to do in Zadar is to rent a bike! It took us maybe 10 minutes to bike into town and it is the also the perfect way to explore the surroundings of Zadar. One day we took the bikes on to the ferry and went to Uglijan and had a fantastic day there. We very much recommend Miodrag apartments for your stay in Zadar.
