“Great PV Condo- Gorgeous Design With A Fabulous View in the Best Location”

Reviewed 29 May 2015

We just returned from a four night girls weekend in PV. I have rented condos in PV probably a dozen times and this one was the best. The location is in Amapas so you have a fabulous view of beautiful PV, the Bay of Banderas and endless water. The condo is in a building with thirteen other units so a manageable size- VERY SAFE, SECURE -- and felt like being home. Now for inside the condo- the decor is lovely, lots of light, open air and just really comfortable and livable. Everything you can imagine is there so you don't have to think about a thing- I opened the closet in the master bedroom and there were even sun hats to borrow! Don't even think about it- book this place. It is where you want to stay in PV to live away from all the touristy craziness with all the conveniences of a home that has been so thoughtfully designed. Linda was very helpful and accomodating in the booking process and the entire team onsite there is stellar. Nice, lovely people that are there to make your travel experience more enjoyable but not intrusive. I will definitely rebook this place next time I head down to PV- and this will be the first time I can say that! thanks Linda- will be emailing you soon for a future booking!

“Perfection in Paradise”

Reviewed 25 May 2015

I love Puerto Vallarta and Casa Vista Linda is an exceptional location for enjoying all that the city has to offer. Other reviewers have detailed the stunning beauty of the condo, it's views of the Bay, the infinity pool, the furnishings and art--all of which are absolutely accurate--so I will focus my comments elsewhere. You will feel welcomed, pampered and safe in Linda and Bob's fabulous home. The staff (Eva and Alfredo) are eager to assist you, all the appliances and electronics have detailed instructions for usage, and 24-hour security is provided through locked gates and fencing and an on-site security guard. We felt perfectly comfortable sleeping with our doors and windows open to enjoy the breezes and jungle sounds. Puerto Vallarta is a safe city filled with friendly, generous and happy people who genuinely welcome visitors, most of whom are from the U.S. and Canada. Once you adapt to the relaxed rhythm and the tropical heat you will find a charming city and culture waiting to be explored. Enjoy!

“Absolutely Breath Taking”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2014

I had spent several days searching the internet for the perfect condo to rent for my family and this one caught my eye. We spent the month of July here and it was absolutely incredible!! The warmth, comfort and tranquility made this place truly feel like "home". First of all I'd like to say that if your searching like I have it's safe to say you can stop your search because you found it. The pictures don't do it justice. The condo is so bright, open and well maintained. Nothing is left unattended. Linda has it stocked full of all the entertainment you would need. It was nice to see books lining the walls in a couple of the bedrooms to read, a small collection of DVD's to enjoy on a lazy evening, plenty of pool toys for the kids and some board games. The kitchen was excellent and spacious enough to prepare big meals without feeling crowded. It was also nice to find a spice cupboard with an assortment of things you would need to prepare your meals, such as spices, gravy mixes, can soups, packaged tea, sugar, salt and pepper ect. Some of those spices were items I didn't think to grab when I was at the supermarket so it was a relief to find them already there. We just made sure to replace what we used before we left so the next person would have them available to them too. I like the "pay it forward" system they have going on there. Small things like that truly show the warmth this environment holds for past, present and future tenants. Evening shared on the patio overlooking my children playing in the pool and admiring the ocean view were some of my favorite moments in this home away from home. It was so... perfect. Despite the fact that it was during the summer we didn't find the heat to be to overwhelming. I'm mentioning this because I've heard a lot of talk about the heat the tropics brings about. Yes its quite warm, however up on the hill in Amapas with all the windows open you get such a nice breeze flow thru the condo that you don't notice the heat to much. At night we would close everything up and simply turn on the A/C in the bedrooms for a short while. If you keep the bathroom and bedroom door closed as well you only need the A/C on for a little while before you fall asleep. With the ceiling fan going your fine after that. Booking the condo was effortless and smooth. Linda is such a charming lady and I really enjoyed our communication. The property manager Alfredo is very professional and eager to assist with anything you need. Eva, the maid, always has a smile on her face and quickly and quietly cleans the condo every other day. She was a joy to see. My family and I will be renting this property again in the future and I'd highly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you for sharing your home with us Linda and Bob, we really appreciated it.

“An american in Mexico”

Reviewed 4 Dec 2013

The living environment is modern Spanish and wonderful. The overall ambience is open with greenery all around. There is a lovely view of the ocean and you step right out to an infinity pool that you can enjoy immediately while you're looking down at the Bay and Old Town PV. You're within walking distance to the beach and shopping in Old Town that provides true Mexican history. You can be in the middle of Old Town, at the beach or at one of many wonderful restaurants and in 10 to 15 minutes be back swimming in the pool, at night, looking down at the lights of PV. It all makes for a pleasurable stay.

“First Class awesome Condo”

Reviewed 2 Dec 2013

This is our 3rd time staying at Casa Vista Linda. This unit is the best location in the complex it feels like the pool is private and belongs only to this unit since it is 4 steps from the patio. The interior of the unit is first class and has all the amenities of a five star experience. The décor and quality of everything including a stereo to play your Ipod. The full kitchen with most spices makes cooking-in just like your at home. It has 3 master suites with private bathrooms for each. The unit is also in my favorite part of town, "the romantic zone". Fantastic weather was free !! We were five minutes to the new theater act II sages. Live performances with the quality acting of Broadway shows. We anticipate our next visit to this absolutely awesome condo we have adopted as our luxury home away from home. Thank You to the owners Bob and Linda for sharing your lovely unit.

“Paradise! Again!”

Reviewed 21 May 2013

When reviewing a great movie, restaurant or hotel it is very hard to get that same "over whelmed" feeling the second time around. However, I just visited this wonderful property for the second time and this time the sequel was better than the first visit! I thought nothing could equal the pleasure I had visiting this property last year. The property is beautifully designed and the décor is artistically presented to enhance the incredible views. The bedrooms are very large with beautifully appointed washrooms. I love to cook and the kitchen here is a chef's dream. Two couples shared the condo and there was plenty of room for another couple. We would get up in the morning and have a coffee and our breakfast, looking over the infinity pool into the city and the gorgeous bay beyond. We would then walk into town (some of us who are in better shape also walked back to the condo) for our daily exercise and shop and have lunch. We always tried to get back to the condo early in the afternoon so we could jump into the pool. I found myself mesmerized by all of the different type of birds and foliage that are right at the condo. One day we were lucky enough to have a Chachalaca bird roost in the trees beside the condo. Pool side also provided great views of the bay and the coming and goings of the local "pirate ship" and huge ocean liners. The reason this year was better than last year was because we decided to stay for two weeks instead of one. We should have stayed for a month!! Do not hesitate to choose this property for your vacation. We all spend a great deal of money on our vacations and staying here is a guarantee of a wonderful time.

“My Favorite Vallarta Vacation Spot”

Reviewed 28 May 2012

We've been coming to PV for over 20 years and have stayed in every imaginable type of accommodation, from timeshare to all-inclusive, to boutique hotels, and without doubt, Casa Vista Linda is my absolute favorite. The condo is well-built, modern and clean with a wonderful open design with walls of windows that disappear to create an open expanse encompassing the view of the infinity pool and the Bay of Banderas beyond. It is decorated beautifully with every convenience you could desire for comfort and entertainment. Eva cleans three times a week and even manages to do so without disturbing the flow of activity among the guests. We did a lot of our own cooking and had so much fun enjoying margaritas at poolside followed by simple dinners as we watched a gorgeous sunset. The location is ideal for those who love the old town area of Puerto Vallarta and the more mountainous, jungle side of town near Conchas Chinas. Los Muertos Beach is just steps (120 to be exact) away with all the beachside amenities you could want--restaurants, shopping, etc. The owners have provided a wonderful notebook full of recommendations for everything from favorite restaurants, taxis, massage--even medical care. My husband needed dental work which we were able to quickly obtain thanks to those recommendations. My daughter became a regular with Rosie's Beach Massage with daily foot massages while watching the waves roll in. The only problem is leaving--we all wished we could have stayed longer. It's a little piece of paradise and it gets my very highest recommendation. You won't be disappointed!!

Response from the owner Thanks for the great review and also the pictures. it is so much fun to see you in the pictures. I really like to see who is renting from me. Thanks so much. Linda

Casa Vista Linda is professionally decorated with beautiful decor, comfortable beds and a breathtaking view of Banderas Bay and all of Puerto Vallarta. The infinity pool is gorgeous, heated to a comfortable 85 degrees, and steps away from front gate. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, then this is the place for you. This condo is a hidden gem, it has it all and we will definitely return.
