“Great stay in Harlem”
All the way from the welcome call arriving at Newark to the possibility to store our luggage the final day, the stay was a great experience. Our family of five (parents and three daughter 19, 22, 24) enjoyed the peaceful and safe neighborhood with great restaurants and stores. Coming back to the Home after a busy day in New York and starting up the fire place (!) was a pleasure. Clean, well equipped and roomy apartment on a calm and silent street made it easy to sleep. Very good beds as well. Walking distance to Central Park and a number of subway lines made it easy to get around - even if the girls actually judged Harlem "as the best". Our hosts (Margo and Vipin) were friendly and informative whenever questions were asked. We will definitely consider a second stay when coming back to New York.
“Quiet home in cosy neighborhood”
We stayed with two adults and two children for six days and very much enjoyed the quietness of Brownstone home. After the buzz of New York downtown, its relaxed atmosphere was a relief. The absolute noise free house gave us every night our deserved sleep. The neighborhood is very cosy with a couple of nice restaurants and deli's close by. The apollo Theater is around the corner. Access to the 1, 2 and 3 metro lines are a few minutes walk, which take you within 15 to 20 minutes to Times Square.
We had a wonderful time in this spacious, newly remodeled, cozy apartment. It is on a quiet street in Harlem with very easy access to subway and grocery stores. The owners are very nice and it is easy to get in touch with them for anything you may need. We strongly recommend this appartment.
“A comfortable, peaceful base for exploring New York City”
The apartment is on a quiet street in Harlem, with a neighborhood feel. The apartment itself is newly remodeled, spacious and very comfortable. Our hosts Margo and Vipin were very friendly and helpful Easy access to subway, shopping and dining. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, safe, historic and diverse. We had a great time and would definitely consider staying here again.
“Very pleasant stay”
We, a family of five, spend five days in this great appartment. The appartment was very clean and has everything an appartment needs. Lots of space, good kitchen, bathroom and beds. Highly recommended. Close to shops, subway and restaurants. So much better than a hotel when you want to spend your holiday in New York. Very nice and helpfull owners.
Great location, wonderful apartment, very pleasant and helpful owners.
“Great apartment with a super terrific owner!”
The communication with Margo was excellent. The place was easy to find and Margo even helped my husband get a parking spot just up the street. We were in New York to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday. There were jus three of us in the apartment, so we had plenty of room with the 2 bedrooms. The place has very high celings a lot of light. It has everything you need, plus a washer & dryer. The bodega (corner store) just down the street was very well stocked with supplies to cook breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants close by, but were too busy to get to any of them. Next time, we plan to take it a little slower. There will definitely be a next time. Thanks so much Margo!
“A very pleasant experience”
We stayed in this elegant and comfortable garden level apartment in a Harlem brownstone over the Labor Day long weekend. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. It is walking distance from the subway, though a little far with big luggage so we'd recommend taking a cab to get there first time. Also just round the corner from the historic Lennox Lounge which was a bonus. Margo was very helpful. Harlem is a very interesting part of town and though it is obviously getting a lot smarter it still retains a lot of it's interest value and charm. We three women felt completely safe there but if you are nervous the apartment is extremely well secured.
“A nice, family-friendly flat to help discover New-York City”
Spacious, very well-equipped, just a few minutes from subway and access to Downtown. Good contact with the owners
“A great place to stay!”
A truly lovely apartment, super-clean, everything new and well-equipped. We could have stayed for months and been happy. Convenient to subways, and warm and cozy. Highly recommended.
