Our apartments offer something that hostels and cheap hotels are unable to match. They are clean, modern and safe, with excellent amenities, and are located in the heart of Santiago. You have absolute independence to come and go as you please, and all of Santiago's sights are on your doorstep.

At Home from Home we offer fully furnished apartments, with all the amenities you need to enjoy a comfortable stay in Santiago.

The apartments can sleep up to four people, with a queen-sized bed in the en-suite bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The apartments are fully equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, microwave oven and refrigerator. You can stay connected with the world with our high speed wi-fi internet service and cable television, with many channels offered in English and Spanish. Self-service laundry can be done at the on-site laundromat, or for those who don't want to worry about such mundane chores while on holiday, dry cleaners are located just a few steps away. There are a number of supermarkets within very close walking distance. The apartments are located in safe buildings, with 24 hour doorman service.

Getting around

Our apartment is just a couple of blocks from La Moneda and Universidad de Chile metro stations, and within walking distance of the presidential palace, Plaza de Armas and many of Santiago's main sights. La Moneda and Universidad de Chile are both on Line 1 of the metro system, which links all of the city's major points of interest.

Interaction with guest

We prefer to be as flexible as possible with our guests. We hope that our guests feel at home in our apartment, so we will generally leave our guests alone to enjoy their stay. However, we are always available by phone, email or whatsapp to help our guests out at short notice with whatever they need.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send BENJAMIN (the owner) a message.

If BENJAMIN (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
