“Loved Kitsilano Suites”
Excellent location to stay while visiting UBC. Transportation, restaurants and shopping two blocks away in either direction. Lovely unit on a quiet street, with lots of attention to detail. Comfortable bed, too!
Response from the owner Thank you very much for the wonderful review. We appreciate your kind words and are very happy you enjoyed your stay and the neighbourhood. Hope you will consider us for a future stay. Sincerely, Mark Kitsilano Suites
“Very pleasant, warm and comfortable”
Excellent service from the generous provision of linen, cooking utensils, laundry facilities together with a complimentary starter ' hamper'. Perfect location for all amenities including a good bus service and easy-to-reach places to visit. Very nice to return to after a long day's sightseeing - would definitely make this our first port of call for any future visits.
Response from the owner Dear Kathy, Thank you very much for giving us such a nice reveiw. We really appreciate you doing this for us. Thank you again and I wish you a wonderful weekend! Sincerely, Mark Kitsilano Suites
The location of this suite is wonderful. Its situated on a treelined street, close to the water, close to 4th avenue(chilled coffee shops, amazing restaurants and good shopping)but yet when you turn onto the block where the suite is, you feel like the city could be miles away. The suite itself was stylish, warm, clean and extremely comfortable. I was impressed with the kitchen, which was well stocked and equiped. Mark (the owner) was freindly and very accomodating and flexible when our travel schedule unexpectedly changed. Overall my stay here was wonderful and I will definately stay here again when Im next in Vancouver.
“Vancouver in april”
Mark was the perfect host! In all our travels we would have to list Mark and the Kitsilano Suites as one of our most pleasurable. We have also learned the value of a good review and to be "wary" of no reviews. The Kitsilano Suites are perfectly situated a beautiful "walk-to" neighbor and every effort for a comfortable stay is made. We will not hesitate to stay again on our next trip to lovely Vancouver! Thanks Mark, you do understand the travelers needs!
The suite is beautifully appointed and well-equipped. My husband and I were extremely comfortable and extremely pleased with the accommodation.
“Just like the 'Beach" in Toronto”
Lovely facility. Mark took excellent care of us. Would recommend this place to other travelers. de toronto
“comfy homelike environment in beautiful and convenient location”
A beautiful upgraded and well kept heritage home in the fabulous Kitsilano neighbourhood. Close to great shops and great restaurants. We would visit again in a heartbeat. We stayed in the smaller suite which only had a futon but it was surprisingly comfortable. More than sufficient for a couple. We were pleasantly pleased to be greeted with a basket of fresh fruit and snacks as well as coffee and tea, and milk and jam in the fridge. A really nice touch. If you prefer stay in for dinner the modern kitchen is well equipped with everything you need and groceries only a short walk away. The ocean front is also close by which was great for a morning run. It was a treat to follow that with a coffee on the lovely front porch. Summer 2011 was our first stay at the Heritage Suites and we expect to stay there again on our next Vancouver visit.
“Would definitely stay again.”
From our arrival until he dropped us at the train station Mark was on hand to help us get checked in, provide us with information about the local area and events that were happening. With complete honesty I can say I have never received customer service like this in my life, Mark's care and attention to detail was incredible. The apartment itself was homely; comfortable; spacious; well decorated and above all welcoming. The local area is packed with things like the beach; shopping; restaurants amongst a number of other things. Fairly close by there is also local cinemas and the Bard on the Beach theatre company during the summer. To go further the property is well served from 4th and Broadway for buses. The neighbourhood is really nice, probably the kind of place most people would be happy to live, the only part I disliked was having to leave!
