“Amazing!”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2014

Just arrived back in Sydney after 10 days away. Our last stop was Rome, and what a great stop it was. We stayed in Gianmarco's apartment in Trastevere and it was spot on. Very clean and tidy, very well situated and is very easy to reach all the most famous places (Vatican, Piazza Venezia, Pantheon ... ) . The area has many good restaurants and supermarkets . A great place to stay and the price was very reasonable. Gianmarco himself was considerate and helpful and showed us around the apartment and gave us some great information about Rome. He was very friendly and was willing to help us with anything we needed. The apartment was great. It was clean, good location and able to accommodate 4 people very well. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this apartment.

“Fantastic time!”

We had a fantastic time staying in this apartment. Gianmarco made sure we got there ok and then gave us tips on where to visit/eat/drink. The apartment itself is stylish, comfortable, warm and quiet. The location is also great, just a minute's walk from the river , is perfectly located in a real typical Romain area, it is full of life when you are in the street but you dont have noise once you are in the flat. The flat was really clean and we felt like they are in a hotel as Gianmarco pays attention to all details ! Gianmarco also was really kind to answer to all their question. If you go to Roma I really advice you do not hesitate its the perfect place to stay !!

“Perfect Stay!”

We had a very nice stay at Gianmarco's Trastevere apartment. The apartment is very well decorated with unique pieces of art hanging on the wall and well-furnished which makes you feel at home (hair dryer, iron and iron table, lots of plugs, washer and dryer , microwave, and cutlery and even a authentic Italian coffee maker, etc. etc.) and contains a lot of storage space for clothes. Trastevere is a very convenient location both from a leisure (bars, restaurants, local Italian food stores) and cultural (monuments, museums). The place is exactly as shown in the pictures and It was very clean. The bed is comfortable, wi-fi worked great. Gianmarco was a great host as she helped through the whole trip door to door and answered very quickly to all our messages. We highly recommend this place for a stay in Rome and will definitely go back for our next visit.

“Wonderful apartment!”

highly recommend Gianmarco's apartment. It's the best location to stay in Rome. The apartment is clean, cozy and everything looks brand new . It has everything what you may need. (A great kitchen, nice bathroom & bedroom and an even a safe box!) Gianmarco is one of the most professional host I've ever deal with. he was so eager to help and explain everything. he waited for us with some fruit and he made sure we were very welcoming. We felt really great! We didn't want to leave from there. :) We had a great stay in Rome and Gianmarco was a good part of it. Thanks Gianmarco!! I hope we can visit Rome and to stay there again soon!

“Amazing apartment!”

We stayed in Gianmarco's apartment for 2 nights in November and the stay was nothing short of amazing. The apartment is beautiful and in a great location. Communication with Gianmarco was brilliant, he was very accommodating even when we asked if another couple could join us last minute. - we spent our evenings up here with beautiful wine and food that we bought at the local supermarket. And in the mornings we walked the local espresso bar for the best coffee in Italy. We have the fondest memories of our stay and would love to return next time we are in Italy!

“Great Stay!!”

Gianmarco and his wife are lovely hosts. We met Gianmarco at the apartment as arranged and he gave us the keys and a helpful tour and tips on where to go and what to see. The apartment itself is gorgeous, very homely and cosy and perfect for an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city at the end of the day. Trastevere is a fabulous area to stay in - every night we ate in a different restaurant (all of which were amazing), and there was a real local community buzz. We would recommend the restaurant at the end of the street, where the little old man will tell you that his wife cooks every day in the kitchen - their spaghetti carbonara was the most authentic we tasted, and La Scaletta was great for cheap and delicious pizza. All in all we would highly recommend a stay at Gianmarco's and hopefully we will be returning again very soon - we fell in love with Roma!!

“Perfect location!”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2013

My aunt and I had a wonderful stay at the apartment of Gianmarco! The place is beautiful: nice kitchen, nice bedroom, good beds (both double bed and sleeping couch), perfect bathroom, all recently renovated. It is a great place to stay for a couple, or a family with children. We loved the location , away from the crowds , but close enough to everywhere. It is in a quiet part of Trastevere and a quick walk to many bars and restaurants. The Trastevere neighborhood was perfect for us. Local enough where we didn't feel overwhelmed by tourists but still able to walk to all the sights we wanted to see (The Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Vatican, Coliseum, et cetera). There is an amazing restaurant right but the hill called Marco G- go here! The service is amazing and so is the food. The location cannot be beat. Gianmarco was a wonderful host. I lost my bag at the airport and he offered to be the contact to retrieve it. I was so glad he was there to do that for us, he went above and beyond what I would have expected. Before travelling to Rome, Gianmarco always immediatly answered emails and messages with our questions, and even during our stay we could always contact him, if needed. I would recommend this place to everyone travelling to this beautiful city.

“Wonderful stay in Rome!”

How lucky were we ... first time visit to Rome, decided to stay in Trastevere (fantastic location) and were fortunate to stay in Gianmarco's apartment. Gianmarco's apartment appeared to have undergone a recent renovation as everything was new. Great facilities, beds, bathroom. Gianmarco had left food for breakfast, milk, coffee etc. and made us feel very welcome. We met Gianmarco on our arrival and he "walked us" through the apartment. It was the best apartment we stayed in and can recommend it for couples or a family of four like ourselves. Gianmarco lives in the neighbourhood so if you require any assistance/advice he's available. He organised a driver to pick us up from the airport and suggested a couple of restaurants which were great. We loved our time in Rome and at Gianmarco's apartment. So convenient and very secure. When we come back to Rome we will stay again at Gianmarco's apartment if it's available. David & Family

“Great apartment!”

Reviewed 19 Oct 2013

Gianmarco's apartment is great and he is a great host. Our taxi pulled up (about an hour late) and he was standing out front patiently waiting for us. He greeted us super nicely and gave a tour and some good instructions for the apartment. He left us a bottle of sparkling wine which is always appreciated. This place is great. Located in a great neighborhood, we felt like real Romans. The interior is well designed, cozy and clean. .Trastevere is an excellent location for eating and enjoying the atmosphere. Gianmarco House is within easy walking distance of the main restaurants and bars, but is just far away enough to avoid the noise. There is a large Sunday market outside of the Gianmarco House apartment complex that is well worth a look. The apartment is clean and tidy, very well furnished and includes all the amenities that you require. The WiFi was reliable and the cable TV channels included English language movies, news etc. Any time we had a question or needed anything, Gianmarco was so quick to respond or even come by the apartment for us. He has a good sense of humor and is a very professional host. Top marks for him and for his apartment. Highly recommended!

“Beautiful, Clean and Excellent Location!”

Gianmarco is a fantastic host and lovely person, very helpful and extremely nice! The apartment is beautiful and right in the area of Trastevere but away from the noise, the apartment is very well connected with all public transport (a few meters from the tram, bus, Train, Metro ), you really can not ask for more! The apartment has everything you need, kitchen, washing machine , a big TV screen, and a really soft double king bed Highly recommended! Grazie Gianmarco per tutto! Ciao, Lisa
