Very Good

“Paradise Found”

Reviewed 11 Feb 2011

When you close your eyes, and say to yourself "I want to go somewhere beautiful, tropical, and peaceful to get away from it all," you're talking about Casa Coco. From the kindness of the people who greet you upon your arrival, to the sense of calm and relaxation that comes over you while watching the dolphins and wales frolic about; nothing can bring about a sense of serenity like Casa Coco. The owners with help of a wonderful local couple , Felipe and Yanet, keep the house, painted of bright cheerful Mexican colors, clean and well maintained. The terraced gardens are equally lovely with an abundance of colorful exotic flowers. From our extensive research on the Internet and the various conversations we had with other travelers while in Yelapa we think that we hit the mark by choosing Casa Coco! We highly recommend it; and I know we'll be going back!

“A wonderful vacation”

Reviewed 30 Apr 2010

When we arrived in Puerto Vallarta it was already dark outside. On the boat ride to Yelapa we saw that the water looked like it was glowing, there are certain minerals in the water that made it glow. It made everything look magical, which is just about what the rest of our vacation was like. We had a wonderful time and were well taken care of, the locals were friendly and happy to help. The house is a small paradise, and I would highly recommend it as an escape. Looking forward to visiting again.

“Casa Coco”

“Ocean View”

Our stay was wonderful, the bird watching and ocean view, the caretakers, the home, all made our stay one to write home about. We have told all our friends. The casa really was fully equiped, our friends that visited were impressed.

“Remote Paradise with a View from Heaven”

Reviewed 19 Mar 2010

This home is a well-equipped and comfortable bungalow overlooking the bay of banderas, with amazing views from every direction. The perfect blue water spreads out before you and feels like an island paradise. It is a great place to disconnect from the world and be close to nature. The home is spacious and comfortable and the caretaker, Felipe, and his wife, Yanet, provided us with excellent help during our stay. Yanet will cook for you whenever you like for a modest charge and Felipe is great for getting heavy supplies, food, and drinks from town. He also took us on a great boat tour of the area and took us to an absolutely remote beach where we had a picnic lunch. You get a workout walking the paths of Yelapa and up to Casa Coco, but it's worth it. We would definitely go back. A small but beautiful resort, Verana, is nearby and has lunch and a spa open to the public.
