“Excellent place to stay in Amalfi area”
On April this year we (family with 3 teenage children) stayed at the La Torricella apartment for 3 nights. We loved the apartment and Minori. It looks exactly like the pictures on AirBnB. Very clean and very comfortable. Was nice of management to leave us a bottle of wine on the table when we arrived. You can see the Mediterranean sea from the window and shop for local food products in the small local shops in the streets around the apartment. We highly recommend
“It was a wonderful experience well beyond our expectations.”
The apartment was really large and confortable, better than the pictures on the web site. The staff was warm and helpful, without annoying the guests: they were always ready to satisfy our needs. The weather was ok and we had the opportunity to live the Coast: Will be back as soon as possible!
we spent five days there the first days of september. The apartment was nice and comfortable. The view on the beach was wonderful and the house was full of appliances. We think we will come back next year!
“Perfect Beach apartment”
My family stayed here in June 2013. We had three adults and 2 kiddos ages 4 and 2. The apartment is located off of the main road that runs along the beace and connects all the small towns on the coast. As a result, noise throughout the day and night can be problem if you are a light sleeper. The same is true for the wonderful bakery/coffee bar/bar that is located on the first floor of the same building. They are open very late (close around 0200-0400). The outdoor seating for this bar/restaurant is below the balcony for the apartment. While we noticed the noise, we were able to ignore it and enjoy the beautiful views of the apartment. We paid extra for a gated parking spot, and it was well worth it. Parking in Minori is hard to find. The space was safe, although a little small...A tight fit for our american minivan! The apartment is very large and well kept. The kitchen opens to the living/dining room with large french doors that open onto the balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. There is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs. There is a bathroom and two bedrooms upstairs. The bathroom downstairs includes a clothes washer. The stairs are steep which could be a problem for kids, but they have a gate installed at the top of the stairs. The man who manages the apartment helped us park and carry our luggage up the many stairs to the apartment as there is no elevator. He was friendly and helpful. He offered to help us reserve a boat trip and chairs on the beach, but we were able to find better deals on our own. Almost all of the beach is covered by businesses where you pay a small fee for a chair and umbrella for the day. The price was small, I think 5 euro per person, and we enjoyed having the easy service for drinks and food from the attached restaurant/bar. Minori is small. You can cover almost every inch of the town in a few hours. However, we truly appreciated the relaxed pace when compared with the tourists centers of maiori and amalfi.
“Loved this place!”
My wife, 3 kids, and I stayed here in late June 2013 and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The room was comfortable and the views were outstanding. The location cannot be beat since it is close to the ocean and the great stores and restaurants. There is a large bakery that is attached to the same building as the accomodations. The pastries and cappacino were very nice. But, my wife and I enjoyed the smaller "bar" immediately outside the entrance to the building for drinks. The gentleman spoke English fluently and made my entire family feel very welcome. He is also very funny! I apologize that I do not remember his name. I cannot say enough about the restaurants which are reasonably priced and among the best food that we ever had in Italy or in Michigan (where we are from). The city of Minori is fairly flat compared to other cities on the amalfi Coast, which is a big advantage when walking to stores, restaurants, etc. Check out the local tourist office which is very helpful for all kinds of questions and recommendations.
Excellent location of the apartment. Nice town.In october still warm seas.
We are a family of 6 , ( mom dad, and 4 childrens from, 9,12,18 and 20), It was difficoult to find an apartment in amalfi coast in winter ,this appartment we liked a lot , it was not easy to make the reservation many missunderstandings , but after every thing was solved and then every thing went smoothly. The apartment is very comfortable, it was large for all of us, no problem at all, clean, simple, nice. the location is very good, close to every thing, supermarket, fresh fruit, coffe shop, restaurant, and to every place you want to go, Salerno, Amalfi coast, pompey, etc.,it has a parking, wich is very good . The least we like, the dining and kitchen implements were missing , not every thing for 6 or 8 , TV should be bigger in winter people watch tv ,it is too small for 6. the best.the location, and the size of the apartment .
Response from the owner Dear Claudia, very happy you liked our apartment and we will take into consideration your suggestions. We will enlarge our kitchen implements to allow 6 people to be more comfortable!I just was very sorry to know that there were some misunderstandings for the reservation, usually it does not happen. Hope this will not happen anymore in the future. We wish to host you again!Kind regards Roberta Ravello Accommodation Team
“Beautiful apartment with Fantastic View”
My friends and I stayed in this lovely apartment for 3 days and loved the location. Very convienient to resturants, shops, the beach & ferry. Franco met us at the train and was great getting us to the apartment and showing us around the town. We loved the town because we felt that we were experiencing the real Italy. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the air conditioning in the apartment Franco did assure us that a new larger system was going to be installed.
“A Holiday we will never forget”
My family and I were so pleased with our holiday overall and especially with our stay in Minori. The fact that I have never heard of Minori and only amalfi and Positano is a discredit to the lovely town of Minori. It was peaceful yet loads to do. The beach was gorgeous and the people in the area were so helpful and lovely it was like talking to extended family. We visited the local areas and towns but were always glad that we choose to stay in Minori and loved our apartment Torricella. It was in the middle of everything with spectacular views. We felt it the best town because so few tourist and not too big to be overwhelmed. The best part was there wasn't really any english TV programs so my children were forced to actually talk with me and each other. We did so many walks together it was memorable. The evenings were filled with markets and bands and football for the boys. And don't get me started about the Bruschetta classico from the local restaurant, it was to die for. It was so easy to get to anywhere so we didn't feel cutoff unless we wanted to. We ended the trip with a private boat ride and prosecco along the fabulous coast line. My entire family has fallen in love with the place and have vowed to return again next year, but next time we will skip Rome and go straight to our little haven of Minori. Well worth the effort to get to.
Nice spacious apartment in a wonderful location. Mr Franco was very accommodating and helpful. We hope to come back again one day.
