“A taste of life in Paris”
The location of this apartment is absolutely amazing. It's tucked neatly into a quiet side street just steps from Boulevard Saint-Germain. The check-in and check-out were a breeze. Having a washer/dryer made it possible to pack much lighter than I would have otherwise for my 1.5 weeks here. The kitchen is more than adequate for quick meals, but if you aren't inclined to cook, there are countless cafes and restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Note that this apartment is a 3rd floor walk up (no surprise in such an old city), so I would not recommend it for those with limited mobility. Aside from that, this is an amazing base for your trip to this beautiful city. Overall, this is a well-equipped flat, perfectly situated to turn your vacation in Paris into a true taste of the Parisian lifestyle. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
This is a great little studio; in a fantastic part of town. The sofa bed was quite comfortable. Check-in and check out were painless thanks to the thorough instructions forwarded by the owner and the effectiveness of the manager.
“Loved My Little apartment in Paris”
We were very pleased with Chris meeting us and going through any questions about the apartment. The apartment is compact with everything you need and is in a great location to walk to most sites in Paris and close to metro as well. It has a great little place for bread and pastries around the corner which we used almost every morning. It is a very comfortable mattress for sleeping. Our first 10 days in Paris were enhanced with this apartment choice. Can't wait to come back to Paris and will stay here again! Thanks for the stay Mark & Amy
“Perfect Paris Babymoon”
My husband and I recently stayed at this darling apartment in January. I've dreamed of traveling to Paris since I was a young girl, and after discovering we were pregnant, my husband surprised me with a trip to the city of my dreams. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect place for our babymoon. The apartment was as advertised--very tidy, close to everything (we were able to easily walk to all of the major attractions, even being 4 months pregnant), and oozing with that special Parisian charm. We were quite comfortable during our stay. My favorite feature was the deep bathtub. It was such a nice luxury to come home at the end of a long day and soak my sore feet. The washer/dryer combo was also an added bonus, as it helped us pack very lightly so we could bring back some nice treasures from our travels. The bed was also astoundingly comfortable. I was a little nervous with a sleeper sofa but this was almost more comfortable than our bed back home! I slept far better than I ever have at any hotel. We didn't even mind the fact that it rained most of the time we were there. It only added to the charm and coziness of the apartment. My only complaint was, we were not given a tutorial of how to turn on the lights on the staircase. As there are no windows, it's pitch black if you don't have the lights on. Our first trip downstairs was a bit scary but afterwards, we discovered the outside light switch. Also, we weren't told where to deposit the trash so when we were cleaning up the apartment, we deposited our trash in a can on the street outside and upset one of the local restaurant owners. Later, we discovered that there was a place specifically for apartment trash but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Overall, very minor issues. If we are ever lucky enough to return to this beautiful city, I'm sure we'll stay at this lovely, little, flat. Thanks again to Karen and her team for making our stay memorable and filling us with a lifetime of memories.
“Great location in the heart of Paris!”
Wonderful location! Within walking distance to amazing sites, shopping and cafes - with a main metro line just around the corner. The fantastic Monoprix, close by, was also perfect for grabbing groceries/wine/supplies for the apartment. The apartment itself is small but very cozy. Perfect for two. The pullout sofa is comfy! Having a washer/dryer was great as we were heading to London for a week after Paris. It was nice to arrive with clean clothes. Iron/ironing board/coffee-maker, linens were nice and fresh. Towels were plush. There is no lift and the stairs are a bit tricky to navigate with luggage - but we did it all well smiling and remembering we were in beautiful Paris!! It's only stairs. Check-in and check-out was easy. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome.
Great location and price. Karen made this easy from the start, she was always an email away with any questons I had before taking the plunge and reserving the apartment. I usually stay in hotels but this time I decided I wanted to have all the comforts of home. The location of this fully equipped apartment is close to shopping and the many tourist sites. The bathtub is especially great after a long day of walking around the city. Don't let the pull out bed fool you, it is very comfortable. I really would stay again.
“Spotless and cozy studio in a perfect location”
We stayed in Karen's studio in Rue Perronet as a couple for 5 nights. At a first glance, the studio looked too small, but till the end of our stay we found it, although tiny, comfortable enough for our needs and we just couldn't leave it. The apartment was so clean and neat, very much equipped, from a very comfortable bed and clean and cozy linens, up to full kitchen, washing machine and hair dryer. The location is perfect; in a quiet, pleasant street right on the heart of the trendy, lively, Saint-Germain area, surrounded with lots of shops and cafes. We hardly used the metro (although there is a very close station) since most of the main Paris attractions were in a walking distance away. Last but not least - Karen and Gilles were so warm and helpful and truly gave us the feeling that we are welcomed guests.
“Extremely Comfortable rue Grenata apt.”
We really enjoyed your apt. The neighborhood, packed with gourmet shops of cheese, bread, fish and meat were so lovely to check out and came in handy to pick up our fresh breakfast every morning. We found a couple of lovely restaurants that were comfortable after a long day of exploring and the proximity to the underground was ideal for getting around in the drizzle. The apt. itself was so clean that my white socks stayed white after walking around and it was just the right size so we had some room to move around. Lastly, the beds were very comfortable. So, really we couldn't have been more pleased. We would definitely stay in this apt. again if we visit Paris!
“Review of 6 Rue Perronet”
Just returned from my stay in Paris November 15-21, 2011. Had an amazing time in Paris and loved, loved, loved the apartment. Karen is an incredible landlord, and you will find all the comforts of home in this cute, European-style apartment. The apartment is located in a very posh area of Paris and located around the corner from lots and lots of cafes and shopping. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the apartment and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. The next time I am in Paris, I know exactly where I will be staying.
“Very nice place in a great location”
We stayed for a few nights last summer. The apartment is a bit small, but on a quiet street. Very clean and modern. You can't beat having a kitchen and washer-dryer in the middle of a long trip. The bathroom was a bit small for a 6'6" person like myself, but not the end of the world. The location overall is just great, and in the middle of everything.
