Shangri-La is described as an imaginary remote paradise, secluded

hideaway a place of tranquility, or as paradise on earth.

Now you don't have to imagine Shangri-La you can see it for yourself!

Our Shangri-La is the ideal place of peace and the feeling of being in your own private sanctuary, while allowing you to discover the Enchanted Islands of Galapagos at your own pace.

We are located in a secluded an "auto-free" zone of Santa Cruz Island called Punta Estrada just a short aqua taxi ride from Puerto Ayora and only footsteps from Playa de Los Alemanes.

When you visit Shangri-La, and the Galapagos you will agree the Islands of Galapagos are the world's best island destinations.

On most cruises, Puerto Ayora is only a stop, it should be a destination.

Santa Cruz Island location makes for a perfect vacation.

While there you can enjoy a verity of activates, along with day trips to nearby islands or relax by the pool and relish the spectacular views from the terrace or the roof top deck.

Shangri-La is the perfect place for friends, and family to appreciate all of the beauty The Galapagos Islands has to offer.

Shangri-La has two houses on the property.

The Casita Azul is equipped with:

1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, salon, air conditioning, wireless Internet, cable TV with DVD player, coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave.

The price per day is $200.00 usd., with housekeeping Monday through Friday.

The main house is equipped with:

2 bedrooms, both bedrooms have Cal. queen beds , 2 bathrooms, refrigerator, 5 burner stove with oven, microwave, air conditioning, 2 salons with sofa beds and or daybeds, dining room, 2 patios, terrace with ocean views, roof top deck with bathtub and 360 degree views of Santa Cruz island, pool, poolside bar, poolside bathroom, wireless Internet, wide screen TVs with cable and DVD player.

We also have a porta crib.

The Main House rents for $400 per day with housekeeping Monday through Friday..
