Welcome from Sally and Andrew with our Home at Kawama Tower, Kawama Yacht Club in Key Largo.

Situated on the Ocean with Beautiful facilities, spacious floor-plan, and a high standard of furnishings. We are situated in an ideal central location to explore The Florida Keys, The Everglades or for trips via Miami.

::: Beach : there are two beach areas: man made and landscaped with Mature Breezy Palm Trees : Tikki Shelters for shade from the Sun : Sun- Loungers & Chairs : Walkways into the Ocean : Snorkelling at the waterfront around the rocks : There are Fire Pit's and Barbecues and all new seating along the waterfront and Beach area. Watch the sun go down, the lightning pulsing all across the horizon as you toast marshmallows - another favourite family activity.

::: Beautiful maintained lush tropical Gardens and Pools.

::: Children’s play area featuring all new Pirate Ship, swings and slide.

::: There are 2 All-weather Tennis courts with lighting for night time use. We provide tennis equipment in the condo for guests.

::: Fishing / Sunset Pier extends 600 feet out into the Ocean. This is the venue for the daily Sunset ritual as well as a great spot for fishing with the children. We provide some fishing poles in the condo.

::: Community paths and walkways for exercise lovers.

::: Free, Private, Lightning Fast WI-FI at our Condo.

::: The whole 20 acre Kawama Yacht Club Village Community is secluded and Gated for Privacy. Our manned Security Gate operates 24/7. This makes for a great place for families to stay and visit.

::: Parking is adjacent to the Kawama Tower and is Free.

::: Access between the parking areas and the Kawama Tower have gentle ramps. The building is also serviced by Elevator access. This benefits everyone with convenient access from parking. We also provide a shopping trolley for guests to use.

::: Fisherfolk will already know the Keys are the Sport Fishing Capital of the World…. We are uniquely bordered by a mile of hard bottomed Wading Flats which offer fishing for Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon, Barracuda and Bonnetheads. Lots of family fishing fun and Andrew will provide detailed information on request.

::: There are also deep water boat slips in a protected Dock together with a boat ramp. Please enquire with us about costs and marina terms of use.

OUR HOME is a Condo Apartment in the Kawama Tower :

* Tile throughout for cleanliness. Re-Tiled with the new rectified tiles and virtually nil grout lines so they never look dirty.

* Fully Centrally Air-conditioned – renewed with brand new energy efficient system.

* Living Room features 2 x 3 piece Natuzzi leather sofa’s. One of the sofas converts to a sleeper.

* Coral stone effect dining & occasional furniture.

* Kitchen is well equipped with small and large appliances. Dining area seats 6 plus we provide a high chair for an infant and there are also two bar stools alongside the kitchen island.

* 2 HUGE BEDROOMS : * Master Bedroom #1 = Queen Bed + Posture-Pedic mattress + En-Suite Bathroom with walk in shower :

* Bedroom #2 = 2 x Full Size / Double beds + Posturepedic mattresses + En-suite Bathroom with shower over bath. Bathroom re-modelled.

* We provide a luxury foldaway CRIB and HIGH-CHAIR with bedding for families with little people.

* Soft furnishings on beds, sheets + towels are luxury quality. We buy top grade products from Macy’s and Bed Bath and Beyond.

* Private dedicated ‘super-fast’ wi-fi internet access is included.

* Widescreen Plasma HD TV.

* 4th Floor aspect, elevated balcony views of the Ocean looking east & Rock Harbor lagoons looking west, with the unique treehouse effect of mature breeze filled palm trees. We enjoy sunsets and sunrises depending on the time of year and the angle of the sun.

* The property is maintained to high standards and we renew soft furnishings each year brand new, we re-decorate as necessary on a 3-4 month cycle and replace major furnishings on a structured cycle.

* Elevator access and ramped walkways from parking and between on site amenities to Kawama Tower.

* Parking is free under and around the building.

Getting around

You will need a car to explore the Florida Keys. Although you can get a shuttle bus down to Key Largo from the Airport and then get a locally sourced rental vehicle after you have settled in. Local Rental Franchises include Enterprise and Budget Avis. Be aware though that rental rates are generally lower from the International Airport whilst they also allow you the opportunity todoopen ended pick up and drop off, for example arrive Orlando and leave from Miami. More locally in the immediate vicinity golf carts and cycles can be inexpensively rented and operators will offer a personalised drop off and pick up service.

For anyone concerned about the status of Kawama Yacht Club and the Upper Keys after Irma in 2017: The area is now fully restored. The Community Facilities at Kawama Yacht Club have also been fully restored. How do damage deposits work?
