Situated on the Ocean with Beautiful facilities, spacious floor-plan, and a high standard of furnishings. We are situated in an ideal central location to explore The Florida Keys, The Everglades or for trips via Miami.

Getting around

You will need a car to explore the Florida Keys. Although you can get a shuttle bus down to Key Largo from the Airport and then get a locally sourced rental vehicle after you have settled in. Local Rental Franchises include Enterprise and Budget Avis. Be aware though that rental rates are generally lower from the International Airport whilst they also allow you the opportunity todoopen ended pick up and drop off, for example arrive Orlando and leave from Miami. More locally in the immediate vicinity golf carts and cycles can be inexpensively rented and operators will offer a personalised drop off and pick up service.

“Great place to stay”

We stayed at Sally and andrew´s place for a week. When we looked for a place to stay, we wanted a place not to far of Key West and Miami, and this place was just great! There were lots of places to eat out, things to see, and Key West and Miami was not to far away. The apartment was great, Andrew was too! Everthing regarding the stay were done in a professionel way. Both before the stay and after. The way of paying could have been easier though, but that is not a big problem We had a great time, all four of us visiting from Norway. If anyone should ask me where to stay in that erea, I have absolutely no problem telling them about Sally and andrew´s place! Ps: Make shure to have the time to eat at Mrs Mac´s Kitchen...

“Little Oasis”

We stayed in Sally & Andrew Condo for 7 nights in august 2012 and were delighted with the appartment. It was very spacous and spotlessly clean and extremely well appointed. Everything worked well and was properly maintained, with high end fittings that you do not offten see in rented accomodation. There was an abundance of suggestions of activities to do and personal recomendations was a nice touch that made you feel you were staying with friends and not just another punter.The facilities in the complex were well maintained and fairly quite as we went the end of august, when the local schools were going back. One of the highlights for my 10 year old was the fishing off the end of the pier. We hired two rods and while I was baiting up alex was pulling fish straight out of the sea and he was catching fish faster than I could bait!! We did a party fishing trip which was excellent value and an enjoyable half day out on a boat. A must is the John Pennekamp coral reef state park which is a couple of miles down the road. we did the snorkling trip out to the reef which was absolutly amazing, but make sure you buy an underwater camera from the local supermarket before you go as the state park had sold out and the scenery is just ammazing. I would have no problem in recomending this well appointed condo which is in a great location as well. All the best David & Allison Wheeler & boys

“Great base for exploring the Keys”

My wife and I never having visited the Keys were recommended this property through friends in the UK. Must say we were not disappointed as we spent ten very enjoyable days last May exploring not only the attractions of the development but the wider area of the Florida Keys. Ease of dealing with the owners was hazzle free with excellent joining instructions . In fact this was matched by easy to understand application of the many appliances offered. The condo was spacious , well equipped and very comfortable . A couple of wet days found us chilling out with a good book and reluctant to venture out because we became so comfortable within the dry. Fortunately this was only on a couple of days and when the sun shone we explored and enjoyed the attractions of the development. Nice , well kept pool and nothing like taking a chilled beer to the end of the pier/headland to watch the setting sun. Great base though for exploring the Keys and within comfortable striking distance of Miami city as well. Managed to hit Key West for the day which was interesting but not sure we'd want to spend days down that far. All in all a very enjoyable stay . It was Memorial weekend so a lot of owners turned up for a long weekend. Everybody we met was friendly and happy to give us recommendations on eating out ( great and a lot of good places nearby ) and further afield visiting. would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit this neck of the woods. “Great location to explore the area.”

It was an excellent location on the Keys. It was quiet, because the US1 is not near by. It was 100 miles to Key West, 80 miles to the Everglades and nearly the same to Miami. So it was the right location for us to explore the area. I think it's also great for someone who like fishing and diving. If you like, there are maintained tennis courts. The appartment has the window to the north, you reach it through the elevator. It is friendly and very clean. You will find every you need in the kitchen, towels and freshly made beds. We had in January to live with the seaweed along the atlantic beaches, as in kawana club. For us was it a great time, the owner is very friendly, helpful and correct.

“Modern,quiet condo Key Largo”

This condo is in a gated community on a quiet street in Key Largo. It was very nicely furnished, having eveything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Very nice, kitchen and master bathroom. Andrew provided lots of local information on things to do. Our son had a great day fishing with a local guide andrew put us in contact with. Good snorkeling right at the condo. Lots of great local restaurants close by. Thanks andrew for a great rental experience!

Our decision to rent from Andrew and Sally gave us no regrets. We had a perfect holiday using the apartment as a base. We covered a huge amount of miles in the 4X4 so 4* because a car is essential and you will have to drive a lot to get the best out of the region. Visit Miami for the Malls, Metro Zoo, the beach, the fantastic buildings and the people. Key West is an absolute must. Key Largo is great with plenty of good places to eat, friendly locals, and a massive Publix supermarket. So as a base it works perfectly. There was wifi connection at the apartment, Andrew's email tips and advice on where to go were really useful. Andrew and Sally could honestly not do enough to help us, brilliant. The 4th floor apartment is modern light and surprisingly big, its tastefully furnished and has lovely artwork and wall hangings. The balcony and big windows provide a good view over the tree tops. Anyone who likes to cook could not fault the kitchen. The main bedroom is a large double with en suite and lots of storage space. Our 16 and 18yr daughters shared the second bedroom which was a comfortable size but faced in to the central courtyard. Bit of a compromise but not a problem as the lounge was so spacious. Oh I nearly forgot the tv. A 42 inch plasma. Prizing the girls away from the tele was a problem! The air con worked brilliantly and was v.quiet. With temperatures over 100deg we needed it. There is a lovely pool which we had to ourselves most of the time and a seriously good set of tennis courts which were always available. The whole site is very secure and people around are nice and friendly. There are no beaches to speak of at Kawama or the rest of the keys, Miami is definitely the place for beaches. But if fishing is your thing or you just like being around boats you will love Kawama. What amazed me was this was the first holiday the four of us all agreed we had a fantastic time and I can tell you it is not easy pleasing the four of us for two weeks!

We have stayed in Andrew and Sally's place now 3 times! We would recommend this as a good base to stay in the Keys. The apartment is very clean and spacious; you will find many homely 'extras' making it a home from home facility. You will find a good booklet of information in the apartment. The location is great. Based in the central of Key Largo; Only 90 minutes from Miami and 2 hours from Key West. The complex is quiet, secure and has a great private pool for the Tower users. Lovely restaurants nearby for you to try. On each occassion that we have used this apartment, we have found both Andrew and Sally to be very helpful and friendly. A follow up call whilst we were staying was received to check that everything was ok.

All transactions from the first inquiry regarding the condo. right to our departure was handled with professionalism and courtesy with the owners. The condo. was exactly as pictured and described. All our instructions as to driving to our location from the airport were accurate and the owners went above and beyond to supply us with information regarding the surrounding area and it's attractions. We found the condo.clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The facilities at Kawama are also well maintained, safe to take a stroll at any time of day, and leiurely sit by the pool or play a good game of tennis. The sunset at the point is beyond description. We were so pleased with our experience that we extended our stay this year and will be retuning again in Feb. Therefore, having said that we cannot find one negative thing to say about our trip to Kawama.

“Enjoyable watery holiday”

Contacting and arranging our stay was easy and straight forward (from the UK where we live) with Sally and Andrew replying promptly. The arrangements for getting in and out of the appartment worked. We were a party of six, two children and four adults. We stayed at the start of the Ohio school summer holidays. So of The Kawama complex was quiet. This meant that the facilities were at no time busy and in fact we had the impression that many of the other appartments and units were not being used. The appartment was comfortable and in good repair, Kitchen equipment was more than adequate. So can thoroughly recommend the appartment. The pool was good and particlarly the children enjoyed it. There was in addition good snorkelling off the small beach and pier of the Yacht Club with a wide variety of different fish and other marine life. Parrot fish, Turtles, Lobsters and a lone Barracuda among others. there was a reasonable number of restaurants in Key Largo so that in our weeks stay we did not use the same restaurant twice. The Kawama Yacht club is a little away from the Main Drag of Key Largo and transport is essential. the complex is policed and felt very safe. We did a few trips away from Key Largo and it is well placed for visiting other parts of the Keys and Everglades but I would say that Key Largo isn't one of the prettiest places in Florida. The Appartment and Kawama Yacht Club met all expectations and was good for a family holiday.

We, meaning myself my wife three young kids and granddad, visited Andrew & Sally's wonderful apartment in Dec08/Jan09 for a month over Christmas. This was to be our third visit to the Keys and second to this apartment in Kawama Key largo. We love it in the Keys, we are not divers or fishing people, although we can see the attraction and how this location deserves the label of being fishing and diving capitol of the world. We enjoy the many excellent 'eateries' the keys have to offer, our kids love the fantastic swimming pool at Kawama and the beach and go looking for wildlife and shells etc. My wife loves the pool," social" scene, talking to many people from around the world that are visiting the keys. Relaxation is also a major plus here, if the children are happy playing in the 'secure' pool we are happy and are able to sunbathe with a good book. No rowdy holidaymakers/vacationers here! I, being a photographer, enjoy traveling up and down the Keys and exploring the Everglades for photographic inspiration , looking out for those prize winning shots. Being a gated community you feel very secure, and you don't have a worry if the kids wonder off to the nice little park, we often sat on the apartments balcony which conveniently overlooks the park with a glass of wine watching the kids and sometimes granddad play! The attractions around Key largo are plenty and anyone doing there homework on this location does not need telling about them, they are all great whatever your age. Kawama is ideally located for exploring Miami the Everglades and the rest of the Keys. On to the apartment- roomy, light, comfortable,clean all mod cons,secure all on one level,great views,quiet,reasonably priced, excellent, and most knowledgeable about the area owners - we will return!
