“Excellent Location, Great Studio apartment”

Reviewed 30 Nov 2010

I stayed here for a full month on my own. The location couldn't have been better, tons of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby as well as parks. Laundry, grocery store and modern internet cafe each a block away. Babak was super helpful and knowledgable about the area. I hope to come back soon.

“Perfect location!”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2010

My friend and I travelled to Buenos aires and stayed in this wonderful apartment for 10 days. The location couldn't have been more perfect, right in the middle of palermo soho. Walk out of your apartment and you have shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and bars within steps. The apartment was very clean, secure, and very convenient, and the owner/rental company were there to answer any questions or solve any problems. We would def. stay here again.

“Wonderful location & experience”

Reviewed 9 Sep 2010

This was my first visit to Buenos aires, and a friend and I stayed at the Malabia apartment for over a week. We commented more than once that the location of this apartment couldn't be better. It is located right in the middle of the shops and restaurants of Palermo, making it easy to start and finish your day in the neighborhood. As two women, we felt very safe in both the apartment and the neighborhood. The apartment's management team was also incredibly helpful. Babak provided suggestions and offered to help with tickets, airport pick-up, etc. The apartment itself is a good sized modern studio. We debated whether to stay in an apartment or hotel, but it was worth losing some of the hotel amenities in order to have the experience of staying outside the main tourist district and the convenience of a fridge, microwave, and a little extra space. All in all, we had a great experience.

“comfortable & well-maintained, best location hands down!”

Reviewed 23 Feb 2010

I found this place through Apartments Che- the agent's name is Babak. he's a native English speaker and was incredibly helpful, driving me around the city to see various places before I settled on this one in Palermo Viejo on Malabia. So: I highly recommend contacting Babak and working through him. The place itself is brand new. I was spending the month in BA as a single female and both the neighborhood and this apartment complex made me feel safe and secure. Right outside the door there are tons of great cafes, bars, boutiques, restaurants. In a month I managed to explore every other neighborhood in town and I think palermo is definitely the most fun hands down. San Telmo is quaint, Retiro is classy, Recoleta is busy/nice, but Palermo Viejo is really by far the most fun, and it's not hard to get to the various sights-- I used a combination of buses, subway, on foot, and taxis. Apartment itself has everything you need- although a can opener and a little extra toilet paper would have been nice. No problems at all. And I think the main photo, which shows the staircase in the inner courtyard, actually does this place a disservice. It's bright, the apartments are modern chic; the interior courtyard brings in a lot of light and green and songbirds... heaven, really. Have fun!
