Suite St. John at Gallows Point is an exclusive St. John, USVI rental management company which owns and manages the most elegant suites at Gallows Point Resort.

On our Gallows Point website at www.gallowspoint.com, you can review photographs of each suite and their location on the resort property, and reserve the luxury suite of your choice.

Suite St. John at Gallows Point offers eight (8) elegant 1BR "Premium" suites, all recently renovated and redesigned. All 1BR suites have full kitchens, a king bed in the master bedroom, plus sleeper sofas in the living room to accommodate additional guests. Each upper suite will accommodate 1-6 guests, and the lower suites will accommodate 1-4 guests.

The Suite St. John at Gallows Point suites are:

“Beautiful views, quiet and convenient”

From the initial reservation to check-out, service was terrific. The property has everything you might need from beach chairs and towels to groceries. The proximity to town is also a big plus. Our condo was spotless and very comfortable. Excellent all around. We will definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful time, as usual, at Gallows Point. The view from our suite was beautiful, and we loved the visits from the birds on the balcony. The suite itself could do with some updating, especially the upstairs bathroom and closet. The balcony furniture needs repairs. One night, after midnight, we had very noisy neighbors, and the front desk was responsive to our request to ask them to keep it down. This helped a little, but we recommend a written policy of quiet after 10 p.m. for all suites. We plan to return to Gallows Point.

“Our Little Slice of Paradise”

This is our 4th stay at Gallows Point, we just love it there. It is perfect for couples. We have traveled to many Caribbean and other islands, and St. John is "our" #1 spot. The location is perfect - an easy walk to town, but a terrific set up after driving to one of the great St. John Beaches in the morning for an afternoon swim/snorkel/sunbathe. Very relaxing with the pool, hot tub, various sun/shade decks and chaises, and the ramp that leads right to the sea. We actually experienced some terrific snorkeling just off Gallows Point this year - eels, a huge octopus, the resident non-threatening barracuda, hawksbill turtles, lots of colorful fish. The staff at Gallows and the Gallows Gift and Gourmet are very helpful for anything you need/want to do. It is also very close to the gas station and Starfish Market so grocery shopping is easy. Very nice to have breakfast in your condo every morning with a spectacular view. Unit 1D is our favorite. We will be back!

“Excellent place to stay on St. John”

This was our third stay at Gallows Point and highly recommend it! It is walking distance to Cruz Bay and has all the amenities you could want. The property is beautiful with a nice pool and beach access. Our unit was very clean and was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We've stayed in a lot of homes on St. John but keep coming back to Galllow.

From the moment we booked with Richard to our farewell, this was perfection! After a week of sailing in the BVI, this was the most amazing resort to chill or be active. Stayed in 9a and 9c. Both units were beautiful overlooking the ocean and the pool. All staff at the resort are helpful and friendly. Close walk to downtown to many great beach bars and fine dining. Rented a jeep to explore the many beautiful beaches...Get awesome sandwiches from Sam & Jacks deli and head to Francis Bay and snorkel with the turtles! Drive over to Coral bay for a great burger at Skinny Legs! Return home to beautiful sunsets. Thanks again Richard for a wonderful vacation!

“A beautiful warm and friendly place to stay.”

My daughter and I were in St. John for the wedding of a friend. The location and accommodations were perfect for us. We were within walking distance of where all of the parties were. We had a beautiful view from our room. The staff was always helpful and friendly. My only recommendation for someone staying at Gallows Point would be to have them put some snacks in your room before you arrive or bring some things with you because when you get in really late after a day of traveling and not eating it would have been nice to have some fruit and crackers and a glass of wine.

I went on line and got an 800 number to call. Little did I know that the number I had gotten on line was not for Gallows Point but for a rental agency that did not have access to all the units that were available. I wanted to rent directly from Gallows Point because I have stayed there on numerous occasions before because I was a resident and lived on the island and always received a "residents discount" whenever I had major work that had to be done on my house. I even had a post card from my last stay that invited me back and afforded me a discount. I had wanted a downstairs unit facing Cruz Bay because they were the least expensive and always available, especially in the off season. I was told that these units were not available. The gentleman I dealt with was super pleasant but not very forthcoming. Upon arrival, I found out that Gallows was only about 30 per cent booked, and there were numerous units available for the downstairs units facing Cruz Bay. (The least expensive) I also found out there was no restaurant, no bar, and unbelievable headaches for parking due to construction!? I spoke to some of the people I had known in the past and was told there was nothing they could do because I had rented through an agency. The last time I had stayed at Gallows at this time of year I was charged $120.00 per night, and that was with full amenities such as restaurant, bar, parking etc. This time I was charged $250.00 per night, and this was supposedly with a discount, and with no amenities! Gallows Point is not worth this kind of price, even in season, much less off season with no restaurant, bar, parking etc. The publics should be informed when they are not dealing with the resort directly, and should not be deceived the way I was!!!

Response from the manager Dear Mr. Friendly (Not so friendly review) Sorry you were disappointed but the facts, other than the restaurant closing were all on my site at www.gallowspoint.com. While trying to convince me to rent you a suite for $120/N, you were well aware that I was the single largest owner of suites at Gallows Point Resort, so your charge of being deceived is completely untrue. I am not only an owner but also a Board Member and In checking the facts, you have stayed at our resort 6 times dating back to 2004 when you paid $149/N for our cheapest suite (close to regular rate at the time) and most recently in 2010 at the rate of $422/N. During the booking process you seemed quite happy to have obtained a rate of 15% discount off the cheapest priced unit with a guarantee to be placed in the best available upon arrival. You were lucky enough to stay in an ocean upper premium worth twice the price charged. http://www.gallowspoint.com/suite1d/suite1d.html. As residents of St. John for many years we discussed how problematic renovations can be on St. John and I'm sure you were well aware that 80% of the restaurants are closed during Sept/Oct, either for a vacation or renovations. You knew exactly who I was... Having last paid $422/N during your most recent stay, it's strange that you now say that Gallows Point is not worth the $225 charged by me. The fact that the bars, restaurants, tight parking etc. would not have differed had you booked directly through the Resort or an online booking agency. Gallows point is an ideal vacation spot. We stayed in 15 D right on the water with amazing views of Cruz bay. The suite is clean and updated. The staff is friendly and helpful. Booked directly thru the website and good communication and information provided. Able to walk into downtown for dinners but rented a jeep to explore the beauty of the island. The pool and hot tub were very nice to soak in after a day of snorkeling. Would like to head back to St John soon and would stay here in a heartbeat. Visited Sept 18-22, 2013.

How do damage deposits work?
