Milkwood House is a luxurious and stylish two bedroom apartment in the heart of the fashionable Meridian Quay quarter of Swansea Marina in Wales.
It's overlooking the sea and located in Swansea's coolest new Quarter (in between the marina and the beach). Has one double and one twin bedroom, but can sleep 6 if you use the leather sofa bed in the living room.
We have everything you expect - HD TV, PlayStation3, Amazon echo with free Prime music, Now TV, free fibre optic WiFi, Sky cinema, Blue Ray Disc, fluffy towels, shiny sheets and duvets, cracking crockery (that doesn't crack), lovely leather beds, chairs, and an unusual corner sofa unit which is the fastest sofa in the world to change into a bed (seconds is the current record).
So why stay here? Stunning views of the sea on on side, and the Marina on the other; seconds from the beach, minutes from city centre, close to Mumbles and Gower, walking distance to 2 of the most popular visitor attractions in Wales and touching distance to one of the most scenic walking and cycling paths in Wales - "The Celtic Trail" along Swansea Bay to Mumbles. Oh yes, and you can borrow our bikes too - they're in the private underground car park underneath Milkwood House!

The apartment was fabulous. It is well maintained, well equipped and in a perfect location to access the beach as well as the city center. The owner was attentive to all requests and followed up during our stay to ensure that we were happy. As a renter from the us the car parking did take a little getting used to but no different to any other underground car parks in the UK. Don't rent a big car. I will be recommending this rental to all friends and family considering a trip to the UK.
“An excellent apartment with incredible views”
A very comfortable modern apartment. Clean, very spacious and well decorated. Excellent situation right on the front, yards from the huge sandy beach with the marina behind. Parking in the basement was tight but do-able and another bathroom would have been good but not really detrimental.
“Lovely coastal apartment”
We stayed in this lovely flat earlier this year and we found it fab. For us it was a retreat for me, my mum, and her mum, and each generation loved the place. It had all the utensils needed to cook each evening, and it also had a great view to the sea and all the mod cons needed for a comfy stay. This flat is a great Swansea base.

Although this place was a little hard to find, it was well worth it. The location is very handy to everything, and the rooms were clean and modern. we could not have stayed in a nicer place or had better service. I cannot thank andrew enough for making our stay so special.

Travelling with small children & a baby we usually book a suite to have two seperate sleeping areas so are used to staying in nice hotels. Milkwood House was a fabulous alternative to staying in a hotel, offering even better facilities with the self catering cooking facilities and the state of the art entertainment system. We had everything we needed and andrew provided a travel cot for the baby, as well as locking the window in the childrens' room to make it more secure. The check in was hassle free and the instructions within the apartment were perfect, with lovely touches such as bottle of wine and chocs! The location is ideal for a stroll around the marina, a run on the beach or a saunter into the nearby shopping area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and fully intend to return when next in Wales. I would fully recommend this as a place to stay!
As an Olympian I have spent my life traveling both the UK and the rest of the world and rarely have I come across a rental property of such high standards. The accommodation had absolutely everything I needed and more. It was great to see that the quality of the accommodation was equally matched by the outstanding customer service. I cannot fault my time here in any way shape or form and would rate it excellent in every single area. I would be happy to not only recommend this accommodation to anyone interested but would also guarantee they will not be disappointed.
Everything you could wish for includes close to sea/beach, excellent marina,close to city and shops,short drive to stunning locations ie mumbles and gower,also don`t forget the grape & olive just across the road 28 floors up to see spectacular views and yes you can just go up for a drink. As to the property well fitted out,relaxing,clean and tidy,nice view to sea from balcony,large screen tv with sky and espn package, not to forget the underground secure parking. Lastly andrew made us very welcome although he wanted to get back to watch the rugby,oh and i reckon i can beat the Shane Williams record...lol Regards Tim Carole Jason amy & Baby Thomas Merrett
“Everything you could want for a family with teenagers”
Milkwood is a great apartment in an ideal location,close to the city attractions, next to the beach and within 15 minutes of great surfing beaches. We were torn between Swansea bay or a more traditional seaside town/village, this was definitely the right choice, my two boys 12 and 15 had a great time and loved the apartment, x-box etc. Andrew and his in-laws were really friendly and made us feel as though nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return at some point.
property was excellent clean and tidy andrew was always available if needed...location and views were great..underground parking with lifts was essential as we had a baby and pushchair to deal with...included bikes were a bonus enabled us to cycle to Verdis in Mumbles 10 mile return trip and useful to go for take aways as we couldn't eat out with the little one..all in all somewhere to relax and chill worth every penny
Stayed at Milkwood for 2 nights for our son Darrens graduation at Swansea University. Apartment had everything and all tastfully done, quiet and a lovely view of the sea. Andrew was very welcoming and had thought of everything. The information book is good for people who don't know the area and the bikes too. Will book again when visiting Swansea or the Gower.
