Limefish, from Pineapplefish is one of the most stunning beachfront holiday rentals on Anna Maria Island, with direct access to a beautiful, almost private beach. With spectacular views across the Gulf, Limefish has a wonderful and spacious decked area across the whole of the property, where you can relax and enjoy front row seats to the most magnificent sunsets every evening.

Limefish has a luxurious swimming pool, set in beautiful gardens, with outdoor showers, changing rooms and plenty of pool toys to enjoy. And, for entertaining alfresco-style there is a great cabana with table and chairs and a charcoal BBQ.

Inside, the spacious open plan living space, has a fun, beach-chic style, complete with high quality furniture and stylish furnishings and high tech equipment, including flat screen TV, surround sound and wireless internet. There is also a dining area to seat 8 and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need during your stay. There are 3 bedrooms at Limefish, accommodating up to 6 guests. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge to sleep an additional 2 guests should you need it. The luxurious master bedroom offers a full en-suite and the double guest room and childrens bedroom with bunk beds share the second bathroom.

Due to its wonderful location, Limefish is the perfect romantic setting for weddings and honeymoons. And, Anna Maria Island is regarded as the No.1 beach wedding destination in Florida!

Relaxing at Limefish can be so tiring; you will need to stay for much longer than a week!

Getting around

The best way to get around on Anna Maria Island is without question via bike or golf buggy. The island is very flat and 7 miles long and the speed limit is 25mph on the island so getting around this way is not only easy, it's a wonderful way to explore and very safe, particularly for young children. There are many hire companies on the island, including our friends at Beach Bums Island attitude. They have an array of bikes for all the family and selection of fun gold carts to seat 4 and up to 8. There is also a free trolley service that travels the length of the island, with a good number of stops en-route. A trolley is available every 15 minutes, to again an easy and convenient way to get around.

Our Management team Sato Real Estate who will manage your initial booking are situation on the island no more than 5 minutes from all of our Pineapplefish houses. Barbara, Josh, and the rest of the team, are here to look after you throughout your time with us at Pineapplefish. Their service is second to none, and will be on hand whenever you need them and at no extra cost.

Response from the owner Dear Guest We are of course very disappointed to hear that your experience of Limefish did not meet your expectations. Limefish is the most popular rental home on Anna Maria Island, with many loyal guests coming back year after year to enjoy this beautiful home. And as many of our reviews and feedback from guests will show, we have never heard of such disappointment as yours. The property is a rare beach front cottage built in 1948. At the end of October 2015, the home was professionally re-designed and re-decorated to an exceptional standard throughout. A new kitchen had been put in a couple of years before, so we are confident that the standard and decor of the home is very high and has been very well received by every guest that has stayed there since. The property itself is very clearly presented on our websites. We have video tours, and lots of photography, that clearly show the property to its fullest. You were unclear in our discussions as to what you felt was misrepresented, so I am sorry that we are unable to clarify this in any more detail on this review. We have a dedicated cleaning team and full time property manager that check the cleaning standards of this team after every check out and before any new guests arrive. We certainly do realize that there are a few broken floor tiles at Limefish. We do replace these, but with the property being an older, beachfront home, some settling does occur at times, thus causing tiles to crack slightly. However, regarding your other points, we are afraid that we were unable to find evidence of, nor were you able to provide it to us. The windows do lock, the sheets had been replaced, as they are after every guest, and due to the house being clean we were unable to detect any such smells as you mentioned. Also in your discussion with Sato, they had advised you that we do take any disappointment extremely seriously. We want to ensure our guests enjoy a wonderful time on Anna Maria Island with us, and they had therefore, requested more information from you, in order to raise your concerns and liaise directly with us as the owners of Limefish, but you did not respond any further. Therefore, we had to assume you no longer wanted to discuss with us. As said, we are saddened that you felt compelled to write such a poor review of our home, whilst not giving us the opportunity to follow this through with you properly. And, therefore, we are unable to accept this as a fair representation of our home, nor of our service and process on dealing with such matters. However, we do hope that you find something you find more suitable on any future trip to Anna Maria Island, so you can truly enjoy all that our beautiful island has to offer.
