“Excellent location plus everything we needed”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2014

Natalia responded immediately to all our inquiries prior to arrival and arranged excellent transfers from / to the airport. She welcomed us personally to the apartment and provided lots of helpful advice about how to make the most of our trip to Rome. The location of the apartment was very convenient and it contained all we required for a comfortable stay. There were a range of good restaurants close by as well as a supermarket and bakers. The bedrooms were spacious - and the sitting area adequate. However one of the two shower rooms was very cramped. With four staying it was good value.

“Great central location, helpful owners”

Lovely central flat, allowing easy access to most sites. Lots of information in flat. Helpful owners. Good to have mobile in flat in case of need.

“Excellent location and home away from home”

Reviewed 17 Jul 2013

Three of us spent 5 nights in this excellently located apartment. Walter was such a wonderful host (we didn't get an opportunity to be Natalie), providing us instructions on everything in the apartment and places to dine (he also graciously changed the king bed into two twins due to my lack of communication). In addition he went over the map with many "don't miss sites". Walter also arranged transport on our departure day to ensure we were at the airport in time (and the gentleman was early, a plus in my book). Excellent and timely e-mail correspondence prior to our arrival...and all in English!!! Everything we needed for our first trip to Rome. If we ever get a second visit this will be our go to place!!

“Amazing location!”

I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment. If you want to be 5 mins walking distance from the colosseum, and San Giovanni Church then you won't be disappointed. Also Natalia and Walter are wonderful-they took time to sit with us to explain how to use Rome's public transit to ensure we would see all that Rome has to offer.

“A Charming and Convenient Location in Rome”

Reviewed 17 Apr 2013

We stayed for 4 days with our two teenagers and it worked out great. Natalia and Walter gave us the 'Fast Track' version of Rome so we could be sure to make the most of our limited time. She even called The Borghese Gallery and made a reservation for us in addition to arranging transportation to and from the airport. Thanks to these things we were able to focus on sightseeing and making memories!

“Fantastic apartment, location and owners!”

Reviewed 14 Apr 2013

This was one of the best experiences we have had in renting a property on vacation. Natalia and Walter were everything that the previous reviewers said they would be. They arranged transportation for us to and from the airport, met us at the apartment when we arrived, gave us a basic layout of the apartment and area and made us feel at home. They had everything in the apartment we needed to get started. We ran into a snag with aTM machines and Natalia was willing to come over and go to the bank with me or do whatever she could to help us out. It was like we were visiting family rather than renting an apartment from strangers. We cannot thank them enough and will definitely be back again. Thanks Natalia and Walter!!

“great experience”

Reviewed 5 Apr 2013

Natalia's apartment is very nice, confortable, clean, quiet and perfectly equipped with all you may need. I spent there 5 days with my three kids and it had been a wonderful stay for the four of us. Natalia and her husband are very kind, reliable and willing to help. The location is super convenient. Great experience and great memories of our vacanze romane! I strongly suggest Natalia's place.

“Great Location and Gracious Hosts”

Reviewed 2 Apr 2013

Our family of four enjoyed this Roman apartment for 4 days this March. Natalia and Walter arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and then spent at least 45 minutes with us explaining the ins and outs of the apartment and going over a map of Rome with advice on public transportation and sightseeing. They were friendly and attentive. The apartment itself was a perfect size for two adults and two middle school-aged children. When we arrived one bedroom was set up with two twin beds and the other had a queen size--I believe that the two twins can be put together so that each bedroom has a queen. The small kitchen was perfect for breakfasts and the washing machine was great to wash our clothes before the next stop. The location was great--close to metro stops on both the blue and red lines--and walkable to everything. There are lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood and a nice sized grocery store was also just a few blocks away.

“Position, Position, Position”

We stayed in Walter & Natalia's gorgeous apartment in October. Walter & Natalia were so wonderful in helping us book and this continued when Walter met us and gave us information about Rome & what to see and do. The apartment is on the small size but we found it very adequate for 2 adults & teenage daughter. This was the best bed we had during our month in Europe and the air conditioning and quiet location made for excellent sleeping (very important as a tourist). Finally the location, you can see the Colosseum out of the window, it's at the end of the street!! The restaurants were very good and we found it so quiet compared to the areas around the Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain. I would highly recommend for all travellers and the wonderful personal touch of having the actual owners meet & greet (as opposed to an agent) was excellent. Thanks Walter & Natalia.

“Excellent customer service”

Reviewed 17 Jan 2013

Let me start by saying that Natalia and Walter could not have been better hosts during our first stay in Rome. They met us at the apartment. They gave us great information (all written down) about the neighborhood, what to see, etc. And in fact they became our friends even stopping in for a glass of wine! Also, they went out of their way to buy and set up, at our request, a memory foam mattress topper for the bed in the 2nd bedroom which we found to be too hard. Very kind of them. The apartment was reasonably priced and clean. All amenities were provided and the neighborhood was very enjoyable - safe and in a great location (down the road from the Coliseum). We were able to walk to other sights in Rome with ease. The only thing we didn't love was the size of the apartment. We were four adults (three of us large) travelling together and we found the apartment too small - it would be great for a couple or even a family with two kids. In fairness, the ad on the Vrbo site mentioned the (small) square footage but we were unprepared for the very small 2nd bedroom (too small for bed-side tables or placement of suitcases) and the second bathroom (suitable for children or small people). We used it for emergencies only and four of us shared the larger bathroom which was manageable but not ideal. Truthfully, we learned to love the place. Natalia & Walter recommended their larger apartment for our next trip to Rome and we will definitely look them up - lovely and interesting people.
