Very Good

“Wonderful flat in a great location”

Reviewed 18 Oct 2017

Natalia and Walter's apartment was perfect. Location, location, location. Metro just steps away. Great restaurants and bars in all directions just minutes away. Highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer than 6 nights.

Response from the owner Dear John thank you very much for your kind review, you were perfect guests and we hope to have you again in our property

“Fantastic place to stay”

Reviewed 1 May 2014

We loved our time in Rome and staying at this apartment was so much cosier than staying at a hotel. Great location and lovely eating places nearby, we will definately return. Peter + Debbie London.

“Wonderful quaint apartment!!”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2013

We loved everything about the apartment! Beginning with Walter and Natalia arranging for a driver then them greeting us to go over all the details and also their great tips on what to see and where to eat!Location was amazing, we walked everywhere and enjoyed experiencing Rome on our way!! The apartment was perfect, clean, well supplied with everything plus extras, the coffee was the best I had in Rome!!! Thank you once again Natalia and Walter you were great hosts and we would love to come back again!!!

“Amazing location for a Rome vacation...”

Reviewed 31 Oct 2013

I cant say enough about Walter and Natalia! What great hosts. Everything we read about them and how they operate is 100% accurate. My wife and I, who were honeymooning on our last leg of our vacation loved the location itself. A neighborhood known as Monti. Very trendy, great restaurants and close to it all. First lets talk about the apartment... very comfy, in the heart of everything. Easy to walk to everywhere and close to the Metro. More importantly the best gelato we had in Italy a few steps from the apartment. If you ask me... the best Canoli as well!! If you stay here, make sure to go to CiuriCiuri and eat gelato every day!!! Amazing Sicilian Pasticceria. We recommend this apartment to any couple who wants a romantic room with all the accommodations of a hotel basically. From the moment we arrived at the apartment, Walter and Natalia were waiting for us to show us all the highlights and provide us with recommendations for our stay. They gave us a cell phone which we could call them anytime with any questions or concerns we had. They coordinated a driver to take us to the airport on our final day. They think of everything. The room was very clean as well!! This is a huge thing for us. All the amenities of a hotel as well as a smaller kitchen. We didnt cook but we did grab a few antipasi & aperitifs from the grocery store about 1 block away. You know... olives, cheese, wine... so we can have before we would head out to dinner. There is an amazing family owned restaurant 1 block away from the apartment. I recommend eating there as well. Its called Ristorante Vecchia Roma. Try the Pasta Carbonara. Incredible. The calzone is like no other calzone you have ever had. And the pizza was great too! We ate there a couple times. To wrap this up... when in Rome... please look at this place and consider it! Amazing hospitality and in the heart of it all! We would definately go back. Happy Travels!! Robert & Meagen

Response from the owner HI Robert and Meagan!! You are beautiful, as soon as we met you we had the feeling of happiness and love in the air!!!thank you for the nice words, we hope to see you again in the future in Rome, after many happy years of marriage, with your baby!!!!Natalia and Walter

“Perfect choice for touring Rome”

Reviewed 28 Oct 2013

My boyfriend and I stayed here in September and loved it. Not only is it beautiful and clean, the location was perfect if you like a little walking on your vacation. Natalia was incredible to deal with as well. We were late meeting with her, we got lost trying to park our rental car, but she was still so kind and happy to see us. She had maps, books and tour guides ready for us. Gave us the low down on Rome, what to see, eat, do. Showed us how to make espresso on the stove which was fun to use while there. She also had a little washer for us to clean our clothes, gage us a cell in case we had questions or had any trouble with anything. There were even English movies to watch while unwinding before bed. I would recommend this place to anyone. Such a refreshing change from hotels along the way.

“Lovely apartment, quiet and well located”

Reviewed 23 Oct 2013

We stayed at this lovely apartment for four nights in September and found it to be very clean and comfortable; it is a great location and our hosts provided us with lots of extra services. They arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport which was very convenient as we were very tired after having traveled over night from North america. They provided coffee and necessities for our first breakfast, lots of good advice for places to go and things to do while in Rome. The Borghese Gallery was highly recommended and we had not originally included this in our itinerary, however, we did go and it was absolutely a highlight of our Roman trip! We found our hosts to be extremely helpful, they went above and beyond to make our stay in Rome a truly fabulous and memorable experience! I would highly recommend this apartment for couples on a romantic getaway or honeymoon. It was very quiet, even though it is close by the metro, Roman Forum and Colosseum. We found it an extremely convenient location for touring all the sights of Rome. Having a cell phone provided to us in case of emergencies was also a nice addition; made us feel safer as it was our first visit to Rome. We would definitely stay here again if we ever are fortunate enough to be able to revisit Rome. What an amazing city!

“An apartment that feels like home”

Reviewed 6 Oct 2013

We are a young couple who travelled to Italy for the first time. After a long flight from Canada, we arrived at FCO airport, where we had our transportation waiting for us. It is definitely worth the 50€ for this service, especially after a long flight and arriving in an unfamiliar city. When we arrived at the apartment, Natalia was there to greet us. Our first impression of the apartment was that it was even more beautiful than the pictures online, and super clean! The paintings on the walls of the apartment are done by Natalia herself! Natalia sat down with us, gave us a map, and oriented us to the city. She gave us some very helpful tips to get the most out of our 5 day stay in Rome. She also provided recommendations for good restaurants in the area. We would highly recommend "Vecchia Roma" and "i Clementini." Both amazing restaurants. I also recommend, "Curi Curi" for gelato!! The rental is beautiful. Super clean, and comfortable. There is a kitchenette with a small fridge provided. There is also a washing machine provided, which is a huge bonus if you're continuing your travels after Rome. The location is absolutely perfect. It is in a super cute area that is about a 5 minute walk to the Colosseum. The apartment is also right beside the "Cavour" metro exit. This is super convenient because it is only one stop from "Rome Termini" (The main metro and bus centre in Rome). Overall, we loved everything about this rental. The location was perfect, the washing machine was very convenient, the free wifi, and the coziness and cleanliness. I do not have any negative reviews for this rental.

“great location, very pretty place”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2013

We stayed at Natalia's and Valter's place for four nights after we got married in Italy. The apartment is beautifully decorated and has all important appliances, such as TV a washer, microwave, TV with English-speaking channels, etc. Natalia generously gave us her cell phone and was available in case we needed help. We did not need help but when we had a question, they both called us back and e-mailed right away. Location is fantastic. The subway station is literally next door, and the Coliseum is 5-min walk away. I felt that this area of the city was a little less touristy and crowded than the area close to Vatican, but it was still in the historical center with all kinds of sights within walking distance. If you have a big family, the apartment might be small for you, but for two people it was perfect. It has a true Roman spirit of beauty and warmth.

“Roman Forum apartment an absolute delight”

Reviewed 27 Aug 2013

Our stay at Natalia and Walter's Roman Forum apartment was a delight and refuge from the people and heat that is Rome in July. The location iss wonderful, with the metro, shops and restaurants so handy and the apartment itself is beautifully appointed...very comfortable and containing everything you could want and some lovely treats as well. Natalia and Walter were gracious and helpful hosts and I can't them enough for making our stay a memory to be treasured.

The apartment was ideal in every way possible! The owners thought of everything, and I mean everything! Beautifully decorated, well-appointed with everything one could need! It's a perfect location for access to restaurants, shopping, The Forum, The Colessuem, and the Trevi Fountain is a short walk as well. We took daily walks to the Piazzas, the museums, the shops and returned for a comfortable afternoon siesta before heading back out to enjoy the nightlife! Great owners who provided tons of communication, coordinating taxis, checkin and check out a breeze. Thank you Natalia - our stay was simply perfect!
