“Great unit, perfect location”
Been coming to Beach Cottage for over ten years and love the decor and location of Beach Cottage 2103. Indian Shores Vacation is the only place we think of for summer beach vacation.
“Home away from Home with the benefit of the beach!”
The home was fantastic--great location on first floor--easy access to the pool and the beach. Tropical decor made us really feel like we were at the beach! Very clean and well stocked with kitchen needs, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. The pool area was fabulous--lots of lounge chairs and huge decking area around the pool. Great restaurants in the area. We will definitely return!
“The one week we look forward to all year long!!”
We have stayed at this condo for several years now. It is immaculate, beautifully furnished, and very convenient for families with children. The complex is well maintained. I have always found the environment to be very family friendly. There are many choicesfor vacation, but my family always begs to return here~year after year!
We have now spent two weeks' vacations at this condo. It is clean, easy to feel comfortable in and convenient. The walk-out patio to the pool deck is wonderful. You do not feel like you are in a condo ... it feels like a home. You have full size fridge, oven, dishwasher. The washer and dryer are smaller than normal, but it is still great to have! We have entertained up to 12 people for dinner and everyone had room to eat and visit with each other. We love it!
“Beach Dreams - Indian Shores Florida”
Great place to stay. It is right on the 1st floor with easy access to the pool and beach. We we worried about the pool and deck noise, but it set back far enough that there was no issue. The place was huge and very conveniently located.
We stayed at this lovely condo for 3 weeks last summer with our children and my parents and had a wonderful time. The unit itself is beautiful. It is very obvious that the owners take very good care of it as it is well maintained and nicely decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals. There is a washer and dryer an iron and ironing board, and lots of extra towels, linens, and pillows. They have a tv in every bedroom and lots of dvds and books for the rare rainy day.The unit is also on the first floor so all the kids had to do was walk out on the lanai , open the gate and they were on the pool deck. All we had to do to get to the beach was walk down the staircase on the deck and we were there. It was the perfect location! Indian Shore is such a fantastic area. The beach is beautiful with white powdery sand and crystal clear water that is like a big bathtub in July and August. It's not uncommon to see dolphins swimming and playing in the water fairly close to the shore. We have even seen the occasional school of stingrays swim past. There are also a lot of things to do in the area. There are restaurants and shops up and down Gulf Blvd.Johns Pass in Madeira Beach has tons of souvenir and specialty shops as well as restaurants. You can rent waverunners or take a cruise along the intercoastal to watch for dolphins.Indian Shores is very close to Tampa, St.Petersburg and Clearwater. It is also less than 2 hours away from Orlando. We even spent a day at Universal while we were there and had other people at the building tell us that they usually plan a quick trip to Disney while they are there. All and all we really enjoyed our vacation and would most definitely return . Beach cottages is a great complex and unit 2103 was fabulous!
“Had a Wonderful Stay”
We had a perfectly wonderful week at the beach at Beach Dreams. The owners were very helpful with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The property itself is gorgeous and you can't beat the proximity to the beach - just steps from the water. Highly recommend a stay here. Indian Shores is a great place for a family looking to get away from the cold
“It doesn't get any better!”
2103 Beach Cottages II, Indian Shores is a bit of paradise. We have been coming here several times a year for several years now, to get away from the hustle and bustle of the greater Atlanta area. Our stays have well served to rejuvenate us. This condo has all of the comforts of home - comfortable furniture, king size bed, 2nd bedroom, new baths, fully equipped kitchen, great dining area, panel TV, and more! Put this altogether with 2103's center-ground level location, that provides an unobstructed view of the pool (particularly great if you have children), deck, and of course sunsets, what more could anyone wish for. Of course, if you really want a spectacular view of the sunset,or the beach, you can always take a few steps to the beach. For exercise in the morning - you can't beat a walk on the beach. If it's dining out you are looking for, the choices are numerous - our favorite on Sunday evening is the Wine Cellar with it's live jazz group, dance floor and great food & service. For other nights you have Salt Rock Grill, Guppies, The Conch Republic, Keagans - to name a few. Trust us, you will not go hungry. If you are procrastinating about coming to Indian Shores for your vacation, STOP and go to Floridagulfacation.com and book 2103 now. We are going back in January 2010
“Stress Free, in a beautiful, clean, environment”
The condo was extremely clean and comfortable. The location is perfect because it is on the same level as the pool so it has direct pool and beach access. We were so hapy with our stay, and have already started making plans for next year!
“A Visit to Heaven.......”
After several stays at The Beach Cottage Resort, once again I have been blown away by the beauty of the facility. I feel I have developed a new relationship with Jim S. He was very outgoing, helpful and easy to work with whe making arrangements for our visit to the area once again. The location of the condo on the ground level was so convienent and the condo itself was very relaxing and beautiful. A short drive south on Gulf Blvd is John's Pass which I suggest anyone visiting should see, shop and experience the Dolphin Trip by Hubbard's. There are several units and people from all over the world come to stay at Beach Cottage and everyone is friendly and outgoing. Sitting around the pool or relaxing in the hot tub gives you a chance to connect with other people looking for the same thing you may be visiting for....Relaxation and a trip away from the everyday grind back home. I encourage anyone wanting to "Visit Heaven", research Jim Swartout at Beach Cottage Resort and see how awesome he is to work with and the opportunity to go from the comfort of a couch to sand between your toes. There is nothing else like it. You won't be dissatisfied. Come and experience all that Jim's condo has to offer. We returned from Florida to Ohio and called Jim and already booked again for next year. I hope anyone reading this takes the opportunity to call and book a visit because for us, it was all about the chance to get away and let go of the stress and cares. Basking in the sun or walking on the beach watching the dolphins play is a coulple of the reasons that keeps us coming back. Beach Cottage is one of the more popular resorts on Gulf Blvd and booking fills up quickly so don't procrastinate....call Jim! Thank you Jim for allowing us another awesome time at Indian Shores and look forward to next year.
