If you are looking for isolation during these difficult times, we are offering a "Self-Isolation" package for our guests. Not only have we significantly reduced our nightly rates, but you will have the entire villa and private pool to yourself. The villa is equipped with everything you need to cook at home with grocery shopping just minutes away. In addition, we can arrange food delivery, moped or car delivery, in-villa massages, and even a private chef upon request. For additional peace of mind, our cleaning team prepares and sanitizes the villa before each arrival based on the latest health regulations.

Villa Maphraaw is an exceptional five bedroom hillside villa with spectacular ocean views in Ban Tai on the North West coast of Koh Samui. The villa has a magnificent infinity edged pool, an impressive cascading water feature and large sun terraces.

Please note there are 5 bedrooms in total, sleeping 10 guests. For guests of over 10, further single beds are provided.

As soon as you step inside Villa Maphraaw it becomes apparent that this property has been designed, built and furnished to exceptionally high standards. A convenient large covered car port stands on the entrance level of the villa beyond which you will find captivating lush tropical gardens and a charming ornamental fish pond feature. What makes this 650sqm villa unique is its stunning interior design created from natural textures and tones, its unparalleled location, its jaw dropping views and its five spacious and comfortable bedrooms that all have en-suite bathrooms, four of which have fabulous views overlooking the tropical rain forest, ocean and island beyond.

The entrance level of the villa, with its vaulted ceilings is the perfect blend of modern luxury and tropical elegance. Comfortable and inviting here you will find a fully functional, open plan, western kitchen with stylish black granite work surfaces, elegant wooden cupboards and all of the amenities you would expect to find in a villa of this standard. Beyond the kitchen is a spacious open plan living area that affords spectacular views of the tropical rain forest, the ocean and Koh Phangan beyond that can be appreciated whilst relaxing in one of the sumptuous and comfortable sofas. The open plan dining area also offers guests the privilege of soaking up incredible views while dining. The elegant hard wooden dining table can comfortably seat up to eight diners and the outdoor ocean view dining terrace is the perfect place to relax with a cocktail and marvel at the sunset. Beyond the dining area is a comfortable and private living area can be found with comfortable seating, a state of the art entertainment system and panoramic ocean views. From here one can sit back and relax and feel the stresses of modern life dissolve.

From the entrance level an attractive staircase leads down to the second level that has three en-suite bedrooms. The master suite has been tastefully furnished and has an indulgently comfortable king sized bed, a spacious dressing area and access to the pool terrace. The opulent en-suite has twin sinks, a refreshing rain shower and a luxurious bath tub. The second sumptuously furnished bedroom on the opposite side of the villa has a large comfortable bed, an en-suite with rain shower and pool terrace. Bedroom three is to the rear of this level and boats a large dressing area, king-sized bed and a luxurious bathroom with twin sinks, a rain shower and a bath tub.

The lower third level of the villa houses two further en-suite bedrooms. Both have very large dressing areas, one with a queen-sized bed, the other two single beds, and a large inviting private sun deck connected by stepping stones around a fabulous cascading water feature fed from the incredible 32sqm infinity swimming pool, on the level above. This unforgettable pool gives the impression one could simply swim off into the luxurious tropical rain forest canopy below and into the sea. Both the pool and the impressively large sun terrace capture the wow factor of the villas impressive location. The terrace has well chosen luxurious outdoor furnishings that encourage guests to relax and unwind. This area is particularly impressive after dark when the enchanting villa lighting creates an opulent and romantic atmosphere.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
