“huge balcony......breathtaking view”
Not only is the balcony so large you could have a party for at least 12 people and not be crowded, but there is a second seating area ( chairs and table also provided) outside the front door. Meaning you can either follow the sun or the shade - whatever your preference - and be very comfortable with a view of either the Gulf or the attractive pool area to keep you relaxed. The beds are very comfortable, definitely high quality mattresses. Bring your own shampoo and soap, only liquid hand soap was provided. We had a great time, thank you Jaques and Margaret!
“Horrible, cockroach infested.”
We saw roaches within minutes of arriving. After three phone calls to the owner and conda management pest control was sent to spray. Did no good. Repeatedly we ask the owner to come to the condo and see this problem and how dirty the condo was. After threating to leave he did come up and remove the dirty dishes that someone left under the cupboards. There was also black mold on the bathroom ceiling. We had to insist that pest control come back. They sprayed, bated, and fumigated to no avail. We found the owner to be very hard to deal with.
Response from the owner No surprise here we have every year one unhappy camper out of more than 150 guests . I quite sympathize with their bug problem, and don't want them either, the condo association spray one a month inside and outside, the management responded promptly , to their request, sent the pest control the same day, they came 2 times , plus once as a monthly one. Even so after a spray some will come out to die. Since they were still not satisfied, I move them for the day, to the next door unit, ( thing they refused previously, also they refused to move to the adjacent unit 232 that was empty at that time.) I emptied all kitchen cupboards all linen to fumigate the place at our own expense, that solved the problem, as I did not hear from them anymore. I did send the maid for them the first day , the lady refused to acknowledge the maid , and left before she arrived, as I instructed her to do anything they wanted, just to keep them happy, obviously not interested in remedy. Dirty dishes , not true , they exaggerated things, may be bad weather, when they arrived There was no mold , but a dust stain from the vent, as it did not react from bleach. that was fixed immediately. They did shout and yelled with hostility to the management staff, put sign in the window , which is a violation of the condo by-laws. As I told her we had no complaint from repeat previous guests, that rented 4 units for a week before them, she replied with a laugh '' they must be from Texas '' . If any concerns from guests we do our best to address them immediately, but seems they were hard to please. As they all left , trashes were not empty, oven was left dirty, also dirty glasses left out. Her friend that I saw on the last day, told me they had a wonderful time , and not to worry about the two others out of state ladies. This unit 233 is one of the best in the complex , highly requested, and it is our best interest to take good care of it. I guess we need a bad review to show the good ones are legit, as Flipkey told us, thanks we appreciate that one . Jacques Emanuele
This is the 4th time we have stayed in your condos at LaMirage. Every time we have a great time. The condo is roomy and welcoming. It has a great view of the beach.
“Every summer we stay in Unit 233!”
We rent both unit 233 and 232 located right next to each other so our large extended family can go back and forth with ease. The 3 bedroom condos are wonderful for a large family with washer/dryer, plenty of beds, functional kitchen, location can't be beat with a view of the ocean and huge balcony! Renting with Margaret is awesome, so much better than the office. Oh, covered parking one per condo is wonderful too! Beach is a short walk. Over all this is the place to stay and the person to book with!
“Home away from Home”
We just ended our 4 day vacation in this unit. We were a family of 5 adults with 3 small children. We had a great time. The kitchen had everything we needed and more, we all enjoyed the balcony view.We happened to be there during the full moon, (beautiful reflecting off the water). The living room was very comfortable with the lightning made it quite cozy. We would have liked to have had a tv in every bedroom. Having the washer and dryer in the unit made our stay just like Home>>Upon our arrival we met Margaret who was very nice and made us feel welcomed..This was our third time to the Mirage and our first with an owner..We will definitely be using the Emanuele's again..Thanks
