“We will be back!”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2013

we (2 adults and 1 kid) stayed in this lovely flat for 11 nights. The location is perfect. You need 5 min. to Cipro Metro Station and bus stops eg line 492, 15 min. to Vatican Museum, 30 min. to St. Peter SQ by walking with a small kid. You can reach touristic attraction within 30 min. by public transport. Use rather RomePass or daily tickets. In New Years Eve we took a taxi from Venizia SQ for 10 Euro. Good restaurants like Pizzerium are 5min. by walking. Very good supermarket Conrad is just across the street. The neighbourhood is very safe. Everything in the flat is almost new and working properly. Last but not least our host are the best ever. They are so friendly if you don't love them there must be something wrong with you! We will definitely come back...

“Great location, very comfortable, highly recommended.”

We would like to join the chorus of approval on this apartment and its owners. The owners are very friendly and super-helpful and as soon as we were welcomed by Cecilia, we immediately felt 'at home'. They helped us so much, it felt like visiting family. The apartment is a beautiful and safe haven to return to after exploring bella Roma. Recent refurbishment was done very well and all furniture and appliances are top-class. It was very convenient to be able to choose between cook-in and eat-out. The unlimited hot water was a great bonus having two pre/teen daughters. The location is great as it is served by the underground and at least two bus routes (492 + 990). It is not strictly a 'tourist area' so shops and restaurants are very decent. At Falcone Restaurant, we were the only foreigners on the two nights we went there. We bought 1 week travel passes which are good for Metro/Bus/Tram and it was very cheap and quick to get to centre and to get around. We recommend wholeheartedly and will most likely visit again because we are in love with Rome.

“top appartment in the Vatican with a view of St. Peter”

Reviewed 22 Nov 2011

An appartment at the top of the building, overlooking the Vatican and with several balconies, this is a super appartment to settle as a base for exploring not just the Holy City, but all of Rome. Everything is here, all the equipment you can think of. Especially the big, luxurious bed was an assett; in the morning we woke up really energetic which is good in a city like Rome. First thing to do is step out on the balcony and take a deep breath: it feels great!

“Nice apartment, good location, would stay there again”

Nice place! Good value for the money. The terrance had a view of St. Peters it was beautiful. Location was good, we walked everywhere and if walkings not for you the metro is so close. Apartment was clean and would recommend it to anyone.

“Roma/Vaitcan at your fingertips!”

Reviewed 2 Jun 2011

We spent the most amazing four nights in this lovely apartment situated very close to the Vatican and to the Metro at Cipro where you can actually go anywhere in Roma you want!!! My husband and I along with our 18yr old daughter enjoyed our visit. It was so wonderful to know that you could come home to a nice clean apartment after touring all day in Rome. We loved walking out of the apartment and down the street each morning and going by our favorite bakery to pick up breakfast. The croissants were awesome! Then we go on the Metro to our destination of the day...Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Colloseum, the Forum, Palintino, and of course the Vatican. We ate some of the best authentic Italian cuisine at Osteria de Moro da Tony. The reason we ate there was because of the print in the apartment of the guy eating pasta. We saw the same pic at this restaurant and knew this was the place for us. As we walked along the Tiber River and through Travestere we were reminded of how long ago all of this was created...just for us to enjoy! Ice cream is a family favorite of be sure to check out the Gelatia just as you depart the Metro at Spagna...once you get off the Metro it is just on your right!!! Now for a few notes to the all $$$ at a bank as the currency exchangers are not the best at giving you a fair rate; go to the grocery store conveniently located near the apartment for your lunch items, water, and necessities!!! We loved our time at Mauro's apartment in Roma. Thank you Mauro for arranging our Limo pickup at the airport(worth every euro!!) and for a most comfortable rest for our family. We enjoyed celebrating our daughter's graduation from high school beginning in Roma at your wonderful apartment! We can't wait to see what awaits us we continue our journey through Italia!!! Blessings to you and yours, Mauro. We pray that our paths cross again! Hugs from Georgia, USa!!!

“Rome Stay Mid-Nov 2010 through Mid-Jan 2011”

Reviewed 29 May 2011

We were very pleased with our choice of this apartment. It is located in a very pleasant neighborhood with public transportation (both the Metro - the underground - and buses) very close by. The apartment is furnished very nicely with good quality furniture and a well-equipped kitchen, including a full oven in addition to the microwave and four burners. There are supermarkets, coffee bars, restaurants, and all other shops and markets within two blocks walking distance. The owners, Carmen and Mauro, are very friendly and helpful, showing us on the included computer the web page to plot our route from one place to another using all the forms of transportation available. They responded very quickly to any questions we had or help we needed. Definitely a place we would choice to stay again - and hopefully we will at sometime!!

“Charming flat in a real neighbourhood”

Reviewed 26 Apr 2011

Our family of four (two kids, 4 yrs and an infant)greatly enjoyed our short stay. Mauro and Carmen were very accomodating to our special requests (a child crib was provided) and provided helpful information on the local pizzeria and grocery stores. The apartment is very conviniently on a metro line, and in a nice clean, middle class Roman neighbourhood. We'd be very happy to stay there again.

“A very comfortable, well equipped apartment, centrally located.”

My mother, 18 year old daughter and I recently stayed 8 nights in Carmen and Mauro's Rome apartment. The position was great with train and bus close by. The apartment was nicely furnished and all amentities were of a high standard. Our wonderful welcome from Cecilia set the tone for a memorable week. We breakfasted each morning on our delightful balcony with a view of the Vatican. Supermarket, restaurants, Pizzerias, Delicatessan, butcher, pattisserie/bar, gelati shops all within the block! Each night we poured over many Rome guide books provided, planning the next day's adventures. Mauro and Carmen couldn't have been more helpful. I have already recommended this apartment to other australian friends who will be visiting next month.

“Home away from home,”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2010

Extremely good service from checkin to departure. The apartment interior is high quality, makes very good use of the space and has a wonderful view from the balcony! The local neighborhood has many delicious food boutiques and pizzerias, which our host kindly guided us to. A fully equipped kitchen is perfect if you want to cook dinner in the apartment. Transportation to city center is good - 5 min. walk to a metro station. The city center is not within walking distance, though. We loved the balcony, the view and the complementary Nespresso machine.
