“A very comfortable apartment”

Reviewed 21 Nov 2014

I went to Dubrovnik with my girlfriend. We stayed at Apartment Bete.Very nice, clean, centrally located and decorated with a lot of character.WIFI was free, fast and worked perfectly. Two thumbs up!

“This one gets thumbs up!”

The apartment was so perfect that we fell in love with the whole setting and town itself. It was located in the Old Center so location is amazing, right in the center of old city in the middle of all those narrow streets. So close to everything, so we managed to visit everything in 5 days that we were there and it was lovely to start the day by buying the fresh veggies from a small local market. We came out of season but still most restaurants were open and it was absolutely perfect to be able to explore the city when it is no so crowded.Silva and Mathew are lovely and helpful. They run a good business and the apartment is very, very clean. We would definitely return.

“Loved everything about it!”

Unplanned holiday that turned out to be the best one in a very long time. Booked this apartment in the out of season period. The price was excellent (special offer) and the apartment was perfect. Right in the center of the Old City. My sister took the blue one and my husband and I the green one. Each has its special advantages, but both were so picturesque and well planed. Charming, clean and great location. The host met us at the airport and informed us of all things we needed to know on the way to town. Friendly and always available. Very relaxing week and would do it again in a heart beat.

“Beautiful apartment in the midle of Old town Dubrovnik”

We visited Dubrovnik in august 2013 for the first time, and are already itching to go back. Our host Silva was very helpful and available for any questions or instructions we needed. The apartment was perfect, comfortable, clean with all the amenities and it was positioned perfectly in the Old town Dubrovnik.. We sincerely recommend artemida apartments for anyone looking to come to Dubrovnik and experience life in the Old town core.

“Ideally located, quaint apartment”

Providing steps are not a problem, an ideal location in the heart of the old town. Quaint, clean and comfortable and ideal for a travelling couple. Owner very helpful and efficient, and offers assistance with transport to and from airport, which is only 30 minutes' drive away.

“Nice place to stay in the heart of the old town - simple, quiet”

Nice apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, perfect for 3 persons. It is in a small street in front of the franciscan monastery. Very convenient to visit the city - and to get out of the city via Pile Gate.It was very clean, quiet and well equipped. Samll TV with foreign channels... useful when it rains! It is not luxuous but comfortable to spend a week. Not too much dishes but enough for breakfasts and a few meals. The owner was waiting for us at the airport-bus stop. He was very pleasant.

“Very nice”

We visited Dubrovnik in January to avoid crowds in high season, but also to save money. Our stay in the apartment was very nice, the rooms were pleasant and comfortable with all the necessary facilities, the bathroom very clean. The interior is a nice combination of traditional and modern. Location is great, near to main street, museums, galleries and everything else you ought to see in the Old town. The hosts are friendly and can pick you up from the airport, so you don't have to worry about that. Although the cultural program of Dubrovnik has of course more to offer in summertime, we enjoyed our stay and even got a little sun-tan:)

“Excellent apartments and great location”

Stayed here with my wife over New Year, and the whole stay was incredible. Really loved the accommodation and the location in the Old Town with all the best bits at your fingertips. In all had a fantastic stay in Dubrovnik and enjoyable in every way!

“Fantastic location, very basic room”

Reviewed 7 Oct 2010

I had arranged an airport pick-up and after waiting for half an hour I called the number and was told someone would pick us up in a few minutes. A woman then arrived and insisted she had been waiting for us all the time outside, which was plainly not true and even if it was, every other tourist was being met inside the airport building. I didn't mind the wait, but being very obviously lied to was irritating. A very pleasant guy then drove us to the city, carried one of our bags down numerous flights of steps (even though i later discovered that he could just as easily have entered the old town via the Pile gate where there were no steps) He showed us to the room and pointed out main streets, points of interest etc to help us orientate ourselves. The room was large, reasonably clean, with good air conditioning, but there were no top sheets on the bed, only heavy blankets, and the bathroom had no floor towel for outside the shower, which only had a wall fixing at waist height, and more importantly there was no loo roll which I find inexcusable in any room of any standard! Then again, I appreciate that for €85 a night in a city with ridiculously high hotel rates, this room is probably on a par with other accommodation of a similar price.

“Perfect in every way”

Well we spent 24 beautiful days travelling around Croatia and the last 4 nights were spent in Debrovnik. I had booked apartment Tina for myself and a girlfriend as it had 2 beds. However upon being met at the Bus station by our hosts they siad that they had changed the bed to a double at apartment Tina and so had moved us to another of their properties. We were shown into a 3 story house just outside the city walls but within a 2 minute walk of the walls. The property was newly refurbished and was made up of 2 bedrooms a mezanine area that could also have been a bedroom with sofa bed and 2 sofa beds in thlounge room. We were a stone throw from everything but without the noise. It was just perfect and I will be recommending any of the 4 properties that the owners now have to friends and family who are visiting Dubrovnik. The property was comfortable, cool (airconditioned), cleaninviting, historic, memorable and above all was a fantastic end to a wonderful trip. (To the owners) - Thank you for providing such a wonderful property and good luck with everything, I hope that all of your hard work for a young family pays off
