“Great Spot and Great ammenities”

Reviewed 2 Sep 2013

Owner met us at the airport at 1.30am to take us to the property. Checked by a day later to ensure all was fine. Excellent location with access to water and beach lagooon etc and good amenities. Ideal for large group who each want their own space. Safe for kids with lots of room to play.

“Absolutely fabulous accommodation for a group of family or frien”

Reviewed 21 Aug 2013

The service we received from Ian and family was excellent.Very helpful with the knowledge of car rental and making sure we were happy with house set up. Followed up several times to make sure things were OK at the Bach. The home we have now had the pleasure to stay in twice. We find personally the location for us on the island is perfect. If you have rental bikes or car there is no problem anyway! Bus stop is right outside the door if you need anyway. The house has everything you could need for a great time. Decks, both covered and uncovered. Heaps of chairs and a new BBQ! Inside couches could do with an upgrade if your the inside type. Bach itself is very comfortable but felt it could do with a commercial clean in bathroom ceilings. Toilet lids could possibly do with replacing, but over all didn't tarnish our experience. We will not hesitate to stay again. It represents exceptional value for money. We love the climate and the quality of near by restaurants. Lagoon on your backdoor step is not bad either! We particularly enjoyed Vaimai Restaurant, and The Yellow Hibiscus. Enjoyed buzzing around on scooters exploring the many other local attractions. Muri beach is a special area and the cultural experience and buffet are a must do for first timers to the island. Explored a lot of internal areas this time and really enjoyed the non commercial aspect of this part of the island. The weather at this time of the year is very pleasant too!

“Wow!! Incredibly lucky to come across Raro Beach Bach!!”

Raro Beach bach was an incredible find, I must say! Thank you Ian for letting your beautiful property to my Family and I for the week. It was quite a group, with 14 of us including the wee ones. And arriving at the bach with the insanely gorgeous and perfect view in front of us started our holiday off amazingly. The big family table out on the deck with the beach and lagoon literally being a stone throw away, all the rooms were also so clean and tidy and well presented. I was very impressed. We never wanted to leave the house! Thanks Ian. I appreciated you being at the airport to greet us and help out with all the bags. I would absolutely recommend Raro Beach Bach to anyone and everyone!!

“Fantastic”

We booked the whole place as we had a large group, it had a great location, right on the beach and great facilties, it was our home away from home and we would definitely stay there again. Ian was a great host.

“A great spot”

Reviewed 27 May 2012

It was a great location with good snorkeling out front of the bach plus postcard quality sandy beaches about 15mins walk away and awesome snorkeling around the Rarotongan. There were about 4 places to get meals about 10 mins walk away in the opposite direction too. The bach was pretty spacious with large bedrooms and heaps of deck space. It was a quite place to stay (aside from a bit of road noise), we barely saw a person on the beach or out in the water. Ian was really helpful and kindly collected us from the airport in the middle of the night and got a few provisions for us prior to our arrival. All in all a great place to stay, our only complaint was that the weather wasn't perfect.

“The best place for a holiday!”

Reviewed 22 May 2012

We had such a good time here. The bach is fantastic - we were more than happy to just relax there - in fact most nights were spent around the large outdoor table - with the friendly dog from next door that decided to adopt us! It's in a great position - close to a supermarket (15 min walk) and restaurant (Vaima)and if you wander the other way you'll come to the Shipwreck bar where you'll get cocktails in jam jars. Ian was great and was happy to help us out - nothing was a problem to him. We were lucky as there were only 3 of us but we had the entire complex to ourselves. Would highly recommend the Raro Beach Bach. Can't wait to go back.

“Utterly Perfect!”

“Home in Heaven”

Reviewed 22 Feb 2012

Raro Beach Bach is a fantastic home away from home for any large group of friends or family that are planning a trip to Paradise. Clean, tidy, spacious, private, with a large entertaining area for everyone. We had a family of 12 that stayed here, and it was perfect in so many ways. Steps away from a fantastic snorkeling beach, on the main road, yet any traffic noise is blocked out by the trees lining the road. Close to shops/cafes/resorts/activities. We recommend this place to everyone planning a group trip to Rarotonga. This was our 3rd trip to Rarotonga in the last 2 years, and after staying at a popular resort, bungalows, and another holiday home, this was by far the best! Ian, thank you so much for everything - number one choice!! We will be back!

“Amazing place!!! - Beach right outside your doorstep”

Reviewed 20 Dec 2011

Thanks so much Ian, Raro Beach Bach was amazing! We will deff be back. What more could you ask for..clean, tidy, has everything you need and some...beautiful lagoon right outside your doorstep, and a beautiful deck up high to relax on when its not too hot outside! Great Value for Money also!! I miss it all ready!

“Everything we wanted, needed and expected.”

Only two things I could recommend - a huge fridge in the main bach, and comfy deck chairs to lie in the sun / hammocks.
