Description

This lovely home is RIGHT on Lake Michigan with a large front deck looking out toward St. Helena Island. The shallow, rocky shore is a big draw for shore birds. Eagles, herons, pipers, swans, cranes and a variety of ducks are common. Enjoy an attached garage, full kitchen, laundry, outdoor grill and fire pit. Direct TV is provided but not internet. Both bedrooms have lots of storage and full-size beds.

Rental is weekly only during summer months with check in at 3pm Friday and out by 2pm Saturday. The cleaning fee is $100. Dogs are welcome for an additional $30.00 pet fee. Fee is waived if you agree to collect/clean-up pet hair and waste prior to departure.

Though located just off US2, 8 miles west of St. Ignace, we are at the end of a long, black-top drive so away from traffic. The property includes a larger home to the east, but the properties are not visible to one another. There is a large back yard for play or even a tent or camper. Well water, so you may want to bring a jug of drinking water.

Gorgeous view but inside of cabin was filthy. Cleaning should b bore than vacuuming. Water was so rusty we had to buy water.

Response from the owner So sorry Doug, are there some specific things you were concerned about. My cleaner is quite good and I have never had a negative comment about cleanliness before. The water is well water, and may for some not be what you want for drinking, though I thought it was fine and drank a good deal of it when there to open in June. It seemed to me that Lake Michigan being so high had a positive impact on the well water.
