“Relaxing time, wonderful place”
Located nicely between Blacksburg and Charlottesville. I stayed a couple of nights by myself. A friend came from Charlottesville for a couple of nights and my mother came from Blacksburg for a couple of nights. It was the perfect location, a great cabin, and Amanda took great care to make sure we had what we needed. Thanks!
Response from the owner Thank you. Happy New Year and I hope to see you again. Amanda
It was a fabulous place to visit and spend the holiday! We all loved it! The cabin was so homey and cozy...it could not have been better!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night weekend stay! The setting is peaceful and beautiful scenery surrounds the area.
“An unexpected treat”
My family was going to a horse show in Lexington and we'd waited too long to find a hotel room. By a stroke of luck, Amanda had an opening due to a cancellation and we took it. At the time, she said "you'll never go back to a hotel again" - and she was exactly right. The cabin was a wonderful, unexpected treat - beautiful views, very clean, great kitchen and nice beds and bathroom (and amanda is wonderful as well). It is also close to the Horse Center and not that far from downtown Lexington. We've already booked it for next year - and we will never go back to a hotel...unless the cabins are already taken!
“Awesome! We have been there for a winter get-away and plan to go”
The location is perfect for those who want to be close to everything but have great peace and quiet for down time. Everything is provided and all appliances are in perfect condition. No complaints at all - just wish we could stay longer.
We rented both cabins for our family to attend my sons graduation and commissioning ceremony at VMI. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabins, sitting on the porch watching the horses and beautiful scenery. It was so relaxing and we enjoyed barbequing and spending time with the family. It was close to VMI so getting to ceremonies was easy, no stress!!!
“Relaxation, fun with the dogs, and BBQ in the fresh, cold air!”
This was the second time that we have stayed at Lazy acres. We really enjoy the beautiful cabin, and vast space to walk/play with our dogs. Amanda is a great hostess. The cabins are always very clean and well stocked.
“beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere”
We have stayed at Lazy acres many times over the past six years. The cabins are on a working horse farm, and you will see and hear horses in the nearby fields while you are there. Also, there is a panoramic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the porch. Very beautiful and peaceful. The cabins have wooden floors, and they are clean and well-appointed. The owners are friendly but unobtrusive. This is by far our favorite place to stay near Lexington.
