Getting around

Ideally you need a car to get around this part of the world unless you are a very keen cyclist or walker. Public transport is not marvellous, although there is a bus stop 3/4 mile away, and the Newport - Monmouth bus comes every two hours. Obviously there are taxis but they tend to be expensive.

Interaction with guest

We try to be here to welcome guests when they arrive but that's not always possible - the keys will be in the conservatory door and everything will be ready. We aim to be accessible without being intrusive and take our lead from the guests. Basically we are here should you need help or advice on what's happening locally, but if you prefer to keep yourselves to yourselves then that's fine with us. Think of us as the hired help :-)
