Description

A lovely, renovated, old farmhouse situated in a quiet location in the village of Alagoa approx. 2kms from the main district town of Arganil. The house is approached by a quiet lane that leads on to the apple orchards and the local vineyards of the village.

The large lounge retains some of the original stone walls and the large original wood beams and ceiling. There is comfortable seating for 8 including a sofa bed for an extra 2 guests, Portuguese satellite TV (some English channels), CD/DVD player, wifi internet access, books and games and a dining table and chairs. The well equipped kitchen has a gas stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster etc. The main double bedroom has a double bed, ensuite bathroom and a private terrace with lovely views over the fields to the mountains beyond.. The second double bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds, there is also another separate shower room. The private garden has a BBQ and outside dining furniture, swing chair and sun loungers with views across the vineyards, fields and apple orchards of Alagoa to Arganil and the distant mountains. Wifi internet is available at no extra cost.
