“Heavenly Hideaway”

Reviewed 16 Aug 2013

I found this house in a blind search on the internet and took a chance and we're so glad we did! We had never heard of San Pancho, just wanted a place away from all the tourism and something really pulled us this charming house. Casa Celestial was truly a heavenly place that was just perfect for the peace and relaxation we needed. We were so impressed with the love and thoughtfulness that went into the building of these homes, certainly an architectural gem! Every day we would notice another special detail we hadn't noticed before, which just added to making it such a special place. And we loved reading the book with the story of how the Villa De Vistas were built, just imagining how it must have been for you both when you were standing in a jungle trying to envision the homes and how to pull it all together! We found San Pancho to be such a charming little town with friendly people who really love living there. We really liked the added luxury of being able to hire a cook for some meals! My husband caught a 40 lb. fish with one of the locals, certainly a highlight of the trip! And Bob Farmer was an absolutely wonderful host who really went out of his way to make our visit most enjoyable. Thank you again for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

“A wonderful experience”

The Casita is a perfect jewel of a cottage in a magnificant jungle setting complete with tropical bird calls to awaken you in the morning. The kitchen in the Casita is bright and cheerful with Mexican art work and the two bedrooms are separated just enough for real privacy. We especially enjoyed the friendliness and the easy pace of life in San Pancho, particularly in comparison with the high pressure tourist hustle that we experienced on our one night in Puerto Vallarta. Quite a contrast.

“Paradise found”

Architectural masterpiece. Everywhere you look either the house and casitas take your imagination on a journey, or the scenery does! Sunset from the grand balcony over the Pacific through the palm branches, priceless. Town below is charming and quaint, and the 100 yard walk to and then down the beach is amazing. You lack for nothing here, and if you spent a week just lolling around the property relaxing, it would be great! Amazing!

“Private and Luxurious Casita”

Reviewed 25 Jan 2013

My family of 4 has stayed in the Casita on three different occasions and we absolutely love it. The two-bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and private bath are connected by a large kitchen as well as a palapa and dipping pool. It's private and beautiful. The casita is walking distance to the beach and the birds and landscaping along the way are beautiful. San Pancho has so much to offer and do from polo matches, to beaches, to shopping and wonderful restaurants. The Mexican families are so friendly and happy. It's a dream vacation! Enjoy.

“Lush and Lovely”

Reviewed 24 Jan 2013

I stayed at Villa de Vistas with a group of 4 families last Fall. It was more than enough room and allowed ample spaces (both public and private) for folks to gather or rest. The ids spent most of the time in the pool, running down the path to the Beach, at the Beach or at the nearby Costa azul adventure resort (you can drop in for the day.) The house is beyond beautiful, with views and artwork everywhere you look. Once we arrived by car, we didn't drive much as we could walk to beach, pools, town etc. Also, the owners have a list of local chefs who can come to the house and prep food during your stay- High end, basic etc. Perfect Family Reunion spot!

“Secluded and absolutely beautiful!”

Reviewed 24 Jan 2013

This is a wonderful house to rent for 2 couples or a family. We found it to be very clean, comfortable, wonderful kitchen/great room, and loved the palapa! We spent many hours relaxing under the palapa listening to the birds. The dipping pool is a bonus and found ourselves in there every night. Quick walk through the jungle path to the beach and 15 minute walk into town. This trip far exceed our expectation and we can't wait to go back to San Pancho and stay here again.

“Everything you could hope for in a vacation home”

Reviewed 24 Jan 2013

Our experience at "La Casa Que Canta" can only be described as perfect in every way. Bill and Melissa have built a home of incredible beauty and comfort. Should you rent a portion of their home, you will find them the perfect hosts. Bring friends and rent the whole complex, and they will make certain you are well taken care of by the locals in their absence. Chefs to cook for you; birding opportunities; swim in their pool or in the Pacific; walk to town for lunch or a drink on the beach; relax! We felt safe everywhere, and ate food from many of the local restaurants. (They get their produce from Costco, as can you.) The locals are friendly and happy that you are there. Good Mexican beer and remarkably good Mexican wines are availabled for great prices. And the scenery: Perfection! There are many steps, so I would only temper my recommendation to those for whom steps are a challenge. I am in my 70's and did not have any problems, so I can truthfully recommend it for the elderly with the above caveat.

“Excellent accomodations”

I loved the entire experience at the Roberts' home in Mexico. It's a lovely place, living museum quality, a veritable work of art. You have to see it to believe what I say. I especially loved our intimate conversations in the Casita Celestial, sitting around the water spa which is in the Casita Celestial. I hope to one day be able to experience the dwelling again. I also loved the views from the upper balcony of the Pacific Ocean, all while sipping a Blue Margarita!

“Living in a friendly lush tropical paradise.”

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the very comfortable home in San Pancho with its Mexican art, swimming pool, and fabulous views. The locals were all friendly and we especially remember the colorful polo match in town. Great restaurants and beach within walking distance. Outstanding vacation!!!

“Transcendent! Absolutely flawless, beautiful in every day”

Reviewed 24 Jan 2013

I have now stayed at the Roberts home in San Panco three times. Each time I have been impressed with the natural beauty of the place, the convenience and tastefulness of all the furnishings and features of the buildings. It is luxurious without being extravagant. The attention to detail is remarkable and altogether pleasing. I have no hesitation in recommending the place to friends.
