“Perfect in every way”
I loved this place! It had everything I needed and wanted. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, the TV had lots of stuff to watch in English and there was even a local phone to make calls. Renae was very helpful and answered my inquiries almost immediately. The doorman/manager was extremely helpful even if his English skills were passable. His demeanor and willingness to help was great. The pool was a refreshing time after touring the city all day in the heat. I recommend it for families, couples or single people. The apartment is huge and very well decorated. I'd love to come back!
“Really a home away from home...”
The apartment was excellent, we loved the location because it was really easy to walk (take care to the traffic) to the subway station (Lat Phrao - exit no3) and to travel anywhere in the town. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable and spacious enough for a family, not only for two like us. It is well equipped and had everything needed to make a great holiday. It was really a home away from home... And what a great host is Renae. She was a great help both before and during the trip - we got help and answers really quickly and everything went smoothly. Free Wifi is available too. The water in the swimming pool was quite clean and good enough for a relaxing swimming session after a hot day in Bangkok. To reach the apartment when you have big heavy luggage, you may choose to hire a taxi out of the airport (but in this case, sometimes during the day, the traffic is a huge issue), or just go to the train (Airport Railway Link) and take the Express Line (the red line) to Makkasan Station (single last station) of this line. It will cost you 90 Baht per person (1$=31Baht), and it is just a 15 min trip. the trains are every 45 minutes, and it is not crowded at all. On a Friday noon, on 31st of January, 2014 - it was the Chinese New Year celebration - on the entire train we were only around 25 persons. From there at the exit you can hire a taxi (if you have big bags), or just go to the subway, if you travel light. The taxi will cost you around 140Baht. On the site of Supapen Mansion - this is the building where the apartment is located at the second floor (European way of counting floors). Thanks again Renae for the complimentary taxi trip to the airport. Without any doubt I would recommend this apartment to anyone! and I would definitely stay here again. Overall a great experience, nothing not to like!
“Great Place to stay”
This place was super great to stay in. I stayed 10 days and found it very comfortable and convient and off the beaten path. A 10 minute walk to the subway and the grocery store. Renae was very helpful and informative with all correspondence. A real treat to deal with. I woulld reccommend this apartment to anyone that is looking to stay in Bangkok. Perfect place and I will stay again.
It was intimidating arriving in Bangkok by myself, having never visited South East asia. Once my fear left me, I was comfortable with the sorroundings and coming home every evening after touring all day was a joy. Although I never used the kitchen facilities because I found myself eating out every day, it was nice to have fresh cold water and juice in the fridge. The apartment had all the conveniences for living there permanently. Going for a swim in the large and clean swimming pool on the roof was refreshing and almost daily I had it to myself. The manager on duty was a joy, he gave me rides on his motorcycle to the market, and if he saw me walking in the rain would hand me an umbrella or take me to the station. Although he spoke little English, his constant smile and helpful demeanor helped me make a home of my stay. I was there for 8 days, but I would return in a minute.
“An excellent apartment for a relaxing break”
An ideal place for relaxing and for getting around to other parts of Bangkok. The location is makes it easy to get to all transport networks and the apartment is clean, modern and with a nice swimming pool.
Our stay was excellent. We met the host in an adventure trip and offered us the apartment. We were 4 spanish backpackers without any booked apartment or hostel. An excellent taxi service of the apartment picked us up at the airport. Once in the apartment, a revitalizing shower of cold water made ??us catch our breath and decided to rest a bit since the beds seem really confortable and leave us not to think twice. In addition, the hot and humid Bangkok time compared to air conditioning and excellent breakfast convinced us to stay a while and recharge before continuing our adventure. The location of the apartment was very practical since 5min walk had a subway stop. Although the roads were a bit messy after a long day in the hands of a map. At the end, we decided to take a motorcycle taxi that brought you to the door in 2min. Finally I must add, it was an excellent stay with an superb host and a really cozy and lighting house with great air conditioning. Gracias POR Todo!! encantadora e inmejorable estancia!!!
“Luxury appartment in BKK”
I really suggest this appartment if you want to go to BKK. It is located in a very calm area in that city (it is so difficult to find a calm and safe are in that kind of cities) and also close to the city centre. Is well connected with buses and subway so there's no other perfect place where to go after your day visiting Bangkok.
I was living at Renae house during 4 days with friends, at the end of our south asian trip and it was fabulous! Modern house with aC, big kitchen, and a balcony . Near to the subway (5 minutes walking) and with a guard. I recommend it!
“this apartment has everything you need...”
Renae's apartment was the first I stayed in when I arrived in Bangkok. It had everything I needed, including aC as well as fan, comfortable bed, en suite bathroom, fridge for my food, armoire for clothes, washer/dryer, towels, TV, good internet connection, and more. Plus, Renae was a fun and interesting host, who went out of her way to make my stay comfortable and stress-free. The apartment is located in a lovely building in a safe and pleasant Bangkok neighborhood.
Response from the owner Dear Fern: One of the things I love the most in renting the room in my apartment is the new friends I get to meet. Your stay was most pleasant, since you were one of my firsts. You are welcome to come back anytime, as a friend. Safe travels and enjoy it wherever you are. Love ya girl!
“Easy comfortable convenient”
The room in the apartment is very good, the apartment is spacy and quiet with a living area dining are and balcony. The kitchen is well kitted out for a Thai kitchen. The bathrooms are good and the beds very good and the airconditioning more than good. The pool on the roof is great too with a view over the neighbourhood. All in all the week we stayed was a great experience. My only criticism is the lack of water pressure in the apartment, especially in the shower, but the water plenty and hot enough.
Response from the owner Thank you Adrian for visiting me in Bangkok. I'm glad you liked the room and the amenities. Sorry about the lack of high pressure in the shower. I find that it occurs very often in Bangkok. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about it. Westerners are used to having tons of water coming from the shower (I do too) but I find that being frugal with the use of water is best. Looking forward to having you visit us again in the near future. Safe travels and enjoy your visits throughout south east Asia. :)
