Description

The upstairs Studio Apartment offers great view s of the forest & garden views. A comfy and warm feel is the atmosphere that will make you feel at home, the studio has one king size bed . A fridge, microwave, small toaster oven, coffee maker and all needed kitchen utensils, It also has a complete bath / shower with hot water.

The gardens are tropical with flowers to attract humming birds and butterflies. Drive way entrance & private parking with a gate to the main road, the location is a plus, quite and peaceful, very easy to get to all the attractions in Monteverde. The Selvatura & Sky Adventures are just up the road, Santa Elena Reserve is also close. The corridor on site is perfect to look for Sloths, Coatimundis, Monkeys and other wildlife that uses the forest at Casa Balbi. Bird watching right from your room is huge plus, walking around early is a musical enjoyment of sounds.

Town is very close and you may walk or drive the 1 KM to the center of Santa Elena where there are many place to dine, also banks & supermarkets are found in the few blocks that make up Downtown.

Monteverdeis a magical place for Wildlife hiking in the cloud forest is unique. This area is home to three very important reserves in Costa Rica, the biological Reserve of Santa Elena, the reserve of Monteverde and the Eternal Children's Rain Forest, they all make up to over 30,000 hectares of protected primary forest in the Tilaran mountain range.

There is shuttle service with several pick ups and drop off locations to Monteverde, we are delighted to book any needed services to and from most of the different locations in Costa Rica.

How do damage deposits work?

If Larry (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
