On a passé un très belle semaine dans ce joli appartement, propre, fonctionnel, bien situé mais attention, pas d ascenseur et beaucoup d escaliers.
“Eclectic and comfy”
Excellent apartment with great views of the sea and mountains from the kitchen and a sort of view from the master bed. Loved the sound of the sea and village early in the morning (although be prepared to be awakened by the church bell that rings it's first 6 peals and 6am and every hour from then on). We were prepared for the steep and lengthy climb to the apartment but being fit that didn't bother us. The apartment is comfortable with all the regular amenities. Loved the additional terrace - although residents must be told that it's not exactly abutting the apartment and requires another climb. Bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, with the only complaint being that the hairdryer is useless and should be replaced with a faster and more powerful one. Overall, we would recommend and definitely stay there again. Great that the best restaurant in Manarola and probably Cinque Terre, Da Billy, is literally at the bottom of the stairs.
“We enjoyed our time at Casa Beccara- the view from the apartment”
This apartment was definitely adequate for our ( 2 adult couples) stay in the Cinque Terre. The bathrooms & bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was well enough stocked. We didn't spend a lot of time in the apartment as we were sightseeing and hiking the trails. Be prepared to get your exercise as climbing the stairs to the apartment is challenging! The folks at arbaspaa were helpful in making our stay a pleasant one!
Casa Baccara was very clean. Absolutely gorgeous view. But no couch or comfortable chairs for visiting. The only place for 4 people to visit is in the kitchen & the kitchen chairs are plastic. Also 3 flights of very long steep stars to get to the apartment. The advertized terrace was decrepid; did not use it.
Response from the manager Since we have had a very rainy season the grass grows rapidly. We have cut it now,the terrace is not decrepid. It has chairs and table. Eugenio Bordoni
“Really nice stay. Had some kicks, but nice all in all”
Great, big, fully equipped clean, beautiful and amazing view! These are the pros. The cons: it's a bit of a hike up. They didn't offer us a ride with the car and the guy taking us up didn't offer any help with the bags. It's not terrible, and it's just once but if your shape us questionable you might want to reconsider this option. The bed was really uncomfortable but we let them know and I hope they change it. The beautiful pictures of the terrace are of a hillside terrace outside of the apartment. There is no terrace inside and the one they have has a great view but we found it uncomfortable.
“Incredible view and location”
Casa Beccara was the perfect place to land in Manorola! We spent a week there with one other person and it was quit comfortable. Although it is split up to create two apartments when needed it was great. There is no living area except the kind of uncomfortable and space hogging wicker rockers in the kitchen but go up to the hillside patio and wow!!! The views were stunning. The location was great. It is directly across from Billy's and out of the congested "downtown" area. During the day you might think its manhattan. I would recommend this place to anyone except someone who cannot climb steep stairs and who expects luxury. From what we understand this was luxury for the area. Oh yeh and a big thumbs up to the arabaspaa staff! They were so nice and helpful and kind. Hope to stay there again. John and Scott
