“Customer Service at it's Very Best”
This was my fifth visit with Marmotte Mountain Chalets; from the pick up at Geneva to the drop off, everything was exceptional. Jon, Jen and the Team make you feel very special and are attentive hosts. Chalet azimuth is a favourite; well situated, offering exceptional food in very comfortable surroundings. A wonderful way to relax when you have explored the Gran Motet.
You start with Jonski's welcome - he really makes you feel like a mate rather than a client. Jenski's cooking is worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant, not that I want to gush or anything! Between them, they provide great service where it seems as though nothing is too much trouble. Couple this with Jon's network of contacts in the Chamonix valley which allows him to organise seemingly endless activities as well as the great skiing in the area and you get a holiday experience second to none. My wife and I have stayed with Marmotte Mountain 4 or 5 times now and would thoroughly recommend it.
“A perfect holiday, not too precious, just the right amount of at”
Excellent service Beautiful chalet with everything you could need Location is beautiful. Chamonix could do with updating their lift service Loved the ambience and friendliness mixed with efficiency
الشالية من اريح الشاليهات .. يوجد كل متطلبات العايله الكبيره.. قريب على كل شي
The chalet was perfectly located, a few minutes drive from multiple lifts. The team made us feel welcome and saw to our every need. The food was sublime and just what was needed after a long day on the slopes. I would (and already have) recommend this full-service chalet as an alternative to a hotel, there is really no comparison.
From the moment you arrive at this beautifully appointed chalet 5 minutes walk from the lifts of Grand Montets, you appreciate the care and attention that has been put into every detail of the place. There is a wonderful view from the dining/living area onto the grand mountains of the Chamonix area that leads out onto a sunny terrace equipped with a huge hot tub for resting those aching legs at the end of a hard day on the slopes. Or if you just want to sit back and relax with a beer and a movie then the cinema room downstairs is epic! There is a huge open plan kitchen/diner/sitting area with a stunning open fireplace where gusets have their breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals. All drinks are provided free and there is fantastic quality house wine served with dinner. If you want something else for a special occasion the chalets own wine list is exceptional. Food was of a superb quality with professional chefs preparing your evening meals and breakfast was pretty much anything you cared for from continental to cooked. Special mention must go to the chef Jason and Rachael the host ,who from the moment we arrived could not do enough for us. We genuinely believe that it is the staff and other guests on these trips that end up making the holiday what it is. We were not disappointed. Rachael or Jason would happily drop us off at the slopes in the mornings and pick us up later if needed from Chamonix town if we had decided to indulge in some apres ski. Argentierre is the closest area to the chalet for beers and restaurants so it is wonderful to have the choice of both areas for some variety as Chamonix town centre tends to be a little busier. Horses for courses. We cannot speak highly enough about Jonathon Law, his staff and the chalets in argentierre that he runs. We have stayed in 2 so far and both have been excellent (hands down the best we have stayed in throughout our European skiing trips over the years). We are booked in again for next year!
This option is pricier then others but well worth it! I have stayed two years in a row now and the 4-course meals made by professional chefs are amazing. Also, the staff are quite friendly and accommodating. A snack and warm drink always await your return from a day on the slopes as well. The location is just slightly out of town (peaceful) but an easy walk; or catch the bus all the way into Chamonix.
“Luxurious chalet, perfectly kept, great staff and a fantastic lo”
Stayed here in March 2012, this chalet has everything that you need for a fantastic skiing holiday. Beautiful finished to a very high spec, the staff are fantastic and even has a cinema room, although we personally spent more time in the hot tub! Recommended for all who want to enjoy a skiing holiday in style!
“A brilliant mountain retreat! Stunning chalet with amazing views”
We stayed for 7 nights in the azimuth and from the moment of arriving we felt most relaxed, and very well looked after, throughout the trip. The chalet is fairly large but has a very homely feel with a great blend of rustic and contemporary styling, and all the mod cons. It was a great place to unwind after a long day on the slopes, with sauna hot tub and cinema room. Views of Mt. Blanc are also great from the balcony and terraces. The food and wine was exceptional; better than any chalet we've stayed in before, with quality fine dining each evening. The breakfast was also great and set you up for a good, hard day on the mountain. The location is close to the Grands Montet ski lift and about 10-15 mins walk from town, which we liked as it makes it quieter and more secluded. Our hosts were great and took good care of us throughout our stay, also providing transfers to and from the slopes, and during the evening when we asked them. The skiing in Chamonix is tremendous, with such diversity both on and off piste. Our host arranged for half of the group to ski with a guide two days, which was an incredible experience, skiing the Valley Blanche and a day of ski touring at Le Grands Montet. We definitely recommend the chalet and Marmotte Mountain to friends and others, and would have loved to stay longer. We will be back!
“Another amazing week with the Marmotte Team!”
Thanks again for another great week. Our family had an amazing time in your beautiful chalet and the Marmotte team looked after us wonderfully. We really enjoyed the food - the big breakfast gave us plenty of fuel for a big day of skiing and the evening meals and wine were perfect for a group of weary skiers. The ski instructors were really helpful and we were lucky enough to have a great week of snow. Thank you again, we will come back for another week next season!
