“Awesome, Spotless, and within Walking Distance to Everything!”

Reviewed 27 Feb 2014

I stayed in unit 4 for 3 weeks Jan/Feb 2014. The unit was spotless upon arrival and all pictures describe the unit as on Flipkey. The location is in a residential area of PV but within walking distance to everything. The neighbourhood can be noisy at night with barking dogs so if you are a sensitive sleeper this may be a problem. Mornings there are roosters to wake you but you do learn to tune it out. It is within 3 blocks to some of the best seafood taco stands in PV and about 4 blocks to a market. The beach is about 10 blocks away maybe a fifteen min walk but all flat with no hills. The unit had a private terrace that was sun drenched from about 1pm till dusk. There was a rooftop patio that was sun drenched from dawn to dusk. The unit was on the top floor which at times for me was a good climb but I always made it. There was a bbq on the rooftop for grilling. The building had a washer and dryer and Steve even provided laundry soap for all guests. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed to make a meal while everything wasn't in new condition everything was spotless and useable. There was always plenty of hot water and everything was in working order. I would say that the building is one of the nicest on the street and for me the location was awesome since I loved visiting the taco stands daily for lunch. The owner Steve was always available by phone and email to address any issues with the property. The bed was for me way too firm and I suggested to Steve a memory foam mattress topper would solve the issue. The only things that would make the place even better would be air conditioning and perhaps a pool on the rooftop as the unit did get hot in the later part of the afternoon. A/C would also block out the barking dogs and Steve was going to look into that for future visits. There wasn't anything to be upset about with renting this unit, it was more than comfortable and any issues were addressed promptly
