Enjoy a secluded mountain vacation or an extended stay in the Pikes Peak Region of the Colorado Rockies surrounded by the Pike National Forest. You will have it all: pristine environment, wildlife sightings, and magnificent sunrises/sunsets and night skies in addition to hiking trails, mountain climbing, Gold Medal fishing in Platte River, tubing, whitewater rafting, and other activities.

The house-retreat is about 15 min North of Woodland Park, an alpine-style town with all city amenities and about 30 miles to Colorado Springs.










The lake across from the home is a private lake. You may walk around the lake and enjoy its beauty, but the guests may not use the lake for swimming, fishing, boating, or any other water use due to liability.

Response from the owner Linda brought a big group of guests to the property. They broke refrigerator on the second day of their stay. We went out of our way and immediately delivered a hotel size refrigerator and a big cooler since no repairman would go to the mountains on Saturday afternoon to repair he fridge. You can walk by the lake or have a picnic. Swimming and fishing is not allowed as per community liability. There are plenty of other places right by (Manitou Lake, Platte River) for great fishing, swimming and water rafting). Basement is allowed to use. We just want children to be supervised there. We have a regular trash service every Thursday. Please use it. We cannot haul trash after a big group of people stay at the property for one week. The property is beautiful and most of our guests enjoyed their stay and had a great time. Try it out!
