This property is a 4 bedroom 2 bath split level that can sleep up to 16 using the sleeping arrangements. We call the street level top part Lago Haus and the ground level Posada Haus.

Lago Haus- Is a 2 bedroom 1 bath sleeps 8. Lago Haus is at street level and has pine floors, wood ceilings. There is a queen in master bedroom, 2 fulls in the 2nd bedroom, futon in the living room, a full bath with walk-in shower. Lago has an open living-room / kitchen / dining area. The front porch is a great gathering place in the evening.

La Posada Haus- Is a 2 bedroom 1 bath sleeps 8. Located below Lago Haus, Posada has the entrance facing the waterfront. Has a queen in the 1st bedroom and 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom plus a futon full in living-room. La Posada also has a combo Living-room / kitchen / dining area. There is a shower in the bathroom.

The back area has the waterfront grounds which are large with patio areas, outdoor furniture, BBQ pits and access to our Eco river pathway that connects all 6 of our Wunder-Cove houses in that area.

As per Federal, State and CDC rules all hot tubs are closed until further notice.

*** Lake Dunlap Spillgate Failure:

The Guadalupe River is the source of water for Lake Dunlap. Tuesday May 14, 2019 one of three spill gates failed. This caused the lake level to drop by 60-70 percent. This has caused the main body of Lake Dunlap to revert to its original Guadalupe River shape. We may be offering tubing & kayaking soon.

If you are coming to float the Guadalupe or Comal Rivers, they are a short drive (3 to 4 miles) upstream and are open for business. All other Attractions in town are open to include Schlitterbahn, Natural Bridge Caverns & Wild Life Park, Landa Park & the Spring fed pool.

* Directly in front of our Wundercove Cottages (Bass, Sunfish, Angler, Lago, Posada & Catfish) the water level has been reduced to a trickel. We do have a 1500 ft. nature trail that has some water holes along it that provide areas for fishing. We do have our common area hot-tub operating. FYI we have begun construction of a swimming pool to serve all 6 cottages and expect it to be done in late July 2019.

Response from the owner This property is one of our most rented and enjoyed homes ! It is located in our Wunder-Cove that consists of 6 waterfront houses located side by side. Each is a 2/1 and sleeps 8 persons in different configurations. There is over 1000 ft. of common area waterfront here with 4 boat docks and a common area hot-tub. The water in front of this property is for fishing not swiming, but the other 1/3 of our water front with the boat docks is used by many of our guests every day for swiming. It is unfortunate that this guest did not enjoy her stay in this property. When a guest waits over 30 days to make us aware of any issues with a property, there is not much we can do to accommodate that guest during their stay. Our management and staff are available 24 / 7 to assist our guests with all issues. We had upgraded these guests to this water front property from a non-water front property at a discounted rate. Their description of the layout and furnishings of this property are not true or correct ! The master bedroom has a queen, there are 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom, and there is a futon full in the livingroom. This property was completely remodeled in 2011. Everything in this property from the wiring, plumbing, furnishings and appliances are brand new. This is a wonderful property, with most of our guests renting both the La Posada and the Lago Haus upstairs. This complex offers 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 kitchens, 2 patio areas with a combined capacity of 16 .guests. We strive to make sure your vacation experience is comfortable and uninhibited.
