Description

The Wheelhouse has a large kitchen and living room. Living room opens onto ocean front balcony. Fully-furnished kitchen and spacious counters and table allows meals to be cooked for a crowd. Gas fireplace makes star-gazing cozy and romantic. A telescope is in the living room, for you to practice your spotting technique for boats and stars!

Fifteen steps with handrails lead up to The Wheelhouse. There are no interior steps.

Both bedrooms are large, with hanging closet space and full length mirrors. Couch and clean floor space works great for kids' sleeping bags! (Unfortunately, the couch is NOT a sofa bed.)

The Wheelhouse is ideally located between the Pacific Ocean and Lincoln City. Drive or walk down the ramp to spin a few doughnuts in the beach sand or beach comb for miles in either direction! The Wheelhouse has very easy and close beach access.

Walk 1/4 mile to town to enjoy pizza, ice cream cones, Pier 101 seafood, Thai, Chinese or Mexican food and stroll through souvenir and thrift shops.It's very easy to go downstairs and walk around to the edge of the lawn and enjoy the ocean air and sights, downlooking from the bluff to view the tide pools and people on the beach below.

BRING BINOCULARS for your trip! From here, you can watch ships, whales, people, birds, and vehicles stuck in the sand...great fun! Instructions for telescope use are on a DVD in the desk in the front room.

This is a non-smoking condo. No smoking permitted in condo or on the balcony...only outside on ground level, 25 feet away from the building.

There is off-street parking in our lot for ONE of your VEHICLES...all others may park on a side street. IF you bring multiple vehicles, please decide in advance which car will park at the condo, and which one will park on a side street. (Of course, in bad weather, you may load/unload close to your condo.)

Our rates are based on two guests; extras are $5/each per night. Please give us an accurate head count at time of booking; otherwise the rate will be $10 for each extra. In other words, please avoid unpleasantries and don't sneak guests in.

The views were breathtaking and the sound of the waves comes rushing through the windows. Sit by the fire, read a book, and enjoy the sound of the waves.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
